Sir,
You have helped to explain some of the propaganda. Did you draw the arrows yourself, or is it algorithmically derived from rho(D) and rho(R)?
Propaganda is, by definition, misleading and deceptive. This is not propaganda.
My comments are in green as is my drawing on the map. The rest comes from the source that you can click on.
The color of the arrows indicate the direction of the move, towards republican or democrat. The angle of the arrows indicate the percentage of the population that switched. The more horizontal the angle, the greater the portion of people switching sides. The length of the arrows indicate the size of the overall population. The total area of the arrows, therefore, is determined by how many people switched, and this affects the overall color of the map.
The map was generated by The New York Times and is based on the publicly available election results.
All the red arrows will have good paying manufacturing jobs immediately after the swearing in ceremony.
So many wingnutz are going to be disappointed.
Agree Democratic party must embrace ideals not corrupt candidates and must allow for an open primary process
Yes, the Elites would have chortled, knowing they can not address key issues and continue business as usual for their paleocapitalist/neoliberal globalization.
There is a good chance the Democrat party may fragment into two parties. One caters to the holier-than-thou elites, and the other to Marxists.

Not while the Republican Party is around. Everyone is united in their fear of the right wing.
When the Republican Party fades away in the seventh party system, the Democrats will then fracture forming an eighth party system. This will take at the very least 25 years and may take more than 50.

We we see. Alliances are frequently more fragile than they look.
But if Trump screws up, this whole thing may swing the other way.
Tax cuts is not what people want now. If the republicans foxes on tax cuts, they'll lose big time next elections.
People have finally gotten truly mad as hell.
GREAT if have they gotten mad at the right things, the ones you listed,
... but if they have gotten mad at the powerless at the bottom, who they are told are showered with gifts of Obama-phones
There will, of course, be white people who are upset that they are no longer the top dog. Those people would have voted Republican no matter what. The only way to fight them is to keep the godless Republican establishment out of the Democratic Party and let the Tea Party folk dwindle and die.
But we'll fail to do that if we ignore all the independents who voted trump just so that Hillary would lose and all the disenfranchised Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein supporters who stayed home. It's time to heal and unite the people under a new Democratic platform. I'll write up a rant on this when I have the time.
It paints a compelling picture of a lesson that must be learned. The middle class, having been squeezed for thirty years, is rebelling. The Democratic Party needs to embrace the platform of the Green Party, Warren's reforms, and socialism if it is to win next election cycle.
