Of course, Mr. Rogers is wrong about one critical thing. It is never a good idea to put your head in the sand and avoid dealing with an unpleasant reality. It is never a good idea to indulge in delusion. The more unpleasant reality is, the more important it is that you acknowledge it for that is the only way you can change it.
