This premise presupposes the idea that the elite are the best people to make all the government decisions.
We fought a war over this idea once. It was against England.
Seems like we've done ok for the past 239 years.
Anyone here have stories of The Depression from family/friends that lived it.
U.S., European Union, Asian, Developing Nations -
- election of Trump is a tell and symptom, just as Brexit was, of major, dynamic, destabilizing global events already rapidly building -
- that will result in major economic, social and military conflict.
As a student of history & economics, all I can say is to hedge accordingly.
The coming events would have unfolded regardless as to whether the U.K. left the EU, whether the EU held together (it won't and would not have), or Trump or Clinton were elected....it's just that things have been put on an accelerated timeline now.
I proffer the first of many real-time, factual events taking place that indicate how the elite are losing control of events (I will continue to add examples & ask that all of you do the same):
- India has now eliminated high-value fiat currency paper bills, causing a literal shortage of physical currency, massive inflation, a run on consumer goods, and marked depreciation of the rupee in recent days.
