Can you believe the hypocrisy? He wants whole groups of people gone from united states (which mind you can only be accomplished by undemocratic totalitarian means) and then cries victimhood when a private company decides to "purge" him!

Unfortunately, I think Twitter oversteps. Shouldn't be done.
By the end of this, we won't need the 'safe spaces' ... the alt-right will.
Twitter unfortunately has a massive marketing issue here: loved site, heavily used, but an extremely polarizing internet shit-show for any would be product/corporation.

The overriding sentiment from exit polls was people who didn't have upward mobility and were worried about the economy voted Trump. Those aren't winners in this economy. You have plenty of basement dwellers with you. :)
Some who are not in basements yet will be by the end of what happens next: deregulation, massive credit expansion, and then the next collapse. My only wonder is if the Trump Admin dumps the fuel on the fire fast enough, they probably stave off the recession some, potentially until he is gone baby gone.

And I would sooooo have sympathy for the alt-right leadership if only they supported net neutrality.
This is poetic irony and a taste of what will happen to conservatives in the Internet Age if they don't strongly support and defend net neutrality.
It's not just companies like Comcast that can fuck over other businesses for their own profits. It's also all the left-wing founders and owners of major Internet companies that can fuck over conservatives for political reasons. Does getting rid of net neutrality still sound like a profitable idea? You do realize that Google can return whatever fucking search results they want if neutrality goes out the window. Search for republican and get gay porn results. Of course, they could be more subtle and get the same results.

I don't think he said he "wants whole groups of people gone from united states". You said that, not him as far as I can tell. He said he wants some white area somewhere, the same way that Israel is a Jewish area which does not allow non-Jewish immigration. Seems like a fair point. Japan generally does not allow immigration either. Why is it right for Israelis and Japanese, but not for white people?

" Social media company Twitter suspended several accounts run by people associated with white nationalist ideas, or alt-right, in its efforts to crack down on hate speech.
The accounts were suspended Tuesday, a day after Twitter released new rules to fight online abuse.
Among those purged were the verified account of @RichardBSpencer, president of the white nationalist think tank National Policy Institute (@npiamerica) and Radix Journal (@radixjournal), a magazine run by Spencer, according to the Washington Post.
The alt-right, a loosely organized group that espouses white nationalism, emerged as a counterpoint to mainstream conservatism and has flourished online. Spencer has said he wants blacks, Asians, Hispanics and Jews removed from the United States.
Twitter was the platform of choice for the campaign of President-elect Donald Trump and the alt-right political movement that embraced him.
Spencer took to alternative social media, posting a YouTube video where he said, “I am alive physically, but digitally speaking, there are execution squads across the alt-right.â€
“It’s corporate Stalinism, in the sense that there is a great purge going on, and they’re purging people on the basis of their views,†Spencer said in the YouTube post.
Without any trace of irony Spencer’s post is entitled “The Knight of the Long Knives,†a reference for when Adolf Hitler carried out a series of political purges within his own Nazi party in 1934, intended to consolidate his power in Germany."
