Artists are not supported in this culture. This is especially glaring in the Bay Area as so many SF artists are pushed out due to the tech boom/rising rents, ending up in unsafe Oakland warehouses because it is the only affordable option. Tragic.

That's like saying it's the owner fault of the Gated communities if I live in one of their garden sheds and it burns down.
Scoffing the law is not an option for lack of options.
Besides that living in a squalid warehouse, gives precedence to this as being acceptable as our government continues to ignore affordable housing.
I'll be here to say I told you so, when one of those tender built tiny homes goes up in flame as fast as the square footage of the abode.

How did this happen in the cradle of innovation.
