Yes or No, cast your votes now!

Feel free to simply cast a yes or no vote - or - if so inclined, elaborate upon the reasons for your vote!

Please try to focus on Trump and things like his cabinet appointees, rather than engage in ad hominem attacks against other members who may disagree with you (though ad hominem attacks are allowed here, which is cool, because free speech is a precious thing, and free speech doesn't necessarily entail intelligent, polite or "correct" speech).

I can't stand Hillary, yet am growing confident that Trump is a total narcissistic fraud and also subject to manipulation by shrewd suck-ups, and that his administration is going to be a one-term one with high odds that he breaks the law or other threshold that gets him impeached before very long, and that he is a walking disaster, picking cabinet members who clearly indicate that he has ZERO intent to honor his pledge to seek a better life for the people who voted for him (the Carrier deal and other such things were form over substance and part of the Traveling Circus).

In fact, I'll go further and state that Trump really is deeply mentally unstable and maybe even a psychopath (honestly and literally).

So...

I vote YES, IDIOCRACY HERE WE COME!

Nope, because he hasn't taken office yet.

Something that is repeated endlessly but doesn't seem to stick.

2   freespeechforever   2016 Dec 10, 3:00pm

Yes.

Look at his cabinet picks and son-in-law (who will be apparently the real decision maker as he shit-canned Chris Christie as revenge for prosecuting his father).

Trump is a fraud & con-man.

Sad for America, but true.

(Hillary was a horrible candidate, too, but Trump has NO ethical boundaries and plays Americans like a game board)

Irrelevant.
Wrench has been lodged into the gears of washington, shards of metal flying in all directions, just as the jobless working class intended...

He's doing exactly what he pledged to do over and over. He's getting "great people, the best people, really smart really great people" to cover the job of MAGA! He even stated he wanted Munchkin or whatever that Treasury guy's name is in June!
We do see some people from some very scary industries, but there isn't a one of them who isn't an expert in their field. Not a lawyer in the bunch except for the AG of course.

NO Obama took us there by 2010.

Hello Black President, Black President in Idiocracy.
Funny how in real life if you point out the black guy fucked shit up, the Left get's rabbid Rat dog on us.
But make a racist funny movie about it, it becomes a Historical text.

Trump isn't going to be able to control much of what he is putting in place, because he isn't that type of leader. He's an authoritarian. Authoritarians love weak people. He is also essentially taking what he can get for his staff. Most people are thinking how they can survive through the Trump administration to the other side, and on that only.

Mnuchin is a hedge fund manager and Hollywood film producer (Suicide Squad). He now will be setting tax policy, finance regulations and direction fo the economy overall. This guys has no macro economic background at all. He profited greatly from then housing crisis. Great guy! (snicker)

The people actually working in the lower levels, to make the government agencies function, are going to be leaving in higher numbers for a government transition. It could shape up to be an ugly exodus. The reason is that some of these agencies will be headed up by people who oppose their missions or are just incompetent. Talented driven people, devoted to their agency causes as their life's work, are not sticking around to work for people like that. The less skilled, less picky, and less mobile will stay.

In the business world, when I see organizations like that, I want no dealings with them, at all.

How many attacks on Government and private labor before 'the jobless working class' realizes Trump isn't their champion?

Tenpoundbass, I will be sure to point out to you in the future that Trump inherited a very stable and slow growing economy.

The deregulation his administration will bring will keep FIRE and stocks happy, but they have an extremely high potential to be the cause of the next bust. The more the Trump administration is able to juice the system, the worse the downturn will be. It will probably make the great recession look like the pain of an ATM use fee, in comparison.

If by stable you mean everyone that should have been at 1600 Penn Ave. with pitchforks and torches but didn't because they were bombed out of their minds on high grade dope that didn't sell in Colorado, Heroine from Afghanastan, or Poison Penenetol from China.

Trump is ditching the Drugs, so he will have to produce jobs.
The difference between Obama and Trump is while Trump goes around the country putting on a show, shit gets done and he isn't even the President yet.
All Obama did was Def Comedy jams for speeches and when people stopped laughing he quit doing that.

Jared Kushner is a very good student from Livingston, NJ. Yes his father is a billionaire, but he was eminently qualified to go to Harvard on merit as well. He's a smart kid, albeit inexperienced. This ain't Sarah palin we are talking about

Shitcanning Christie isn't really that bad. Was not surprised to see he was riding trump coattails after getting virtually no support in primaries....was surprised that there was talk about him actually getting something

At least he isn't Obama.

"Lookit his campaign advisers. Reformist Credentials! He's going to be such a reformer! And he's got a "D" Congress!"

November: Obama relegates advisers to powerless white paper committees with cushy academic/media/think tank jobs to follow. Appoints Bank executives and bank-friendly academics to positions of real power.

Media talks about the vast experience, ignoring the fact that all these individuals have fundamentally no problem with the status quo.

Then, instead of his MANDATE to reform the system in the wake of the Financial Crisis, he spends his POLITICAL CAPITAL on subsidies for Health Care Companies instead.

Mission accomplished: He ran down the clock.

PS: We're still in Afghanistan and Obama has drone bombed hundreds, if not thousands, of "military age males", which is the euphemism for "we killed civilian males between 14-70 that we can't reasonably tie to terrorism or insurgency."

Oh, and he got a media friendly "Fact Check" from NBC:
http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2009/12/23/4424556-did-obama-campaign-on-public-option

"He only spoke infrequently about a public option, never really promised one, neener neener neener!"

Obama leaves a growing economy, shrinking deficit, low unemployment rate.

Now how could you forget Obamacare?
There is no argument against mythical fantasy talk. When those doing the talking believe it.

13   joeyjojojunior   2016 Dec 11, 1:22pm

Wow--disingenuous much. Here is actual median income graph:

Nice that you cut off the chart at 2012.

14   Tenpoundbass   2016 Dec 11, 5:04pm

Tim Aurora says

Here is the unemployment rate

You guys really stick with your recorded statistical metrics don't you?
Even though the definition of unemployed simply means those eligible for unemployment benefits.
After that you don't count.
We could hemorrhage jobs until there were no jobs left, and eventually that system of employment tracking would say we're at 100%, because no one would be eligible to qualify as unemployed.

Try tallying up resume's and job posting responses, and see of those numbers jibe with the official unemployment numbers.

Where's the employers competing for employees? There's none of that suggest at we're at 6 or 5% you guys are so full shit, your hair is purple.
