Correct.
The swamp has always been defined as corrupt washington politicians and lobbyists, not bankers.
That swamp is getting drained, I promise. Just one or two more Goldman guys in the administration ought to do it.

bwahahahahahahaha!! Please stop. So, Goldman doesn't lobby then?

one way of looking at it is that if their band of lobbyists is greatly curbed, then their ability to lobby will also be curbed.
"one way of looking at it is that if their band of lobbyists is greatly curbed, then their ability to lobby will also be curbed."
So, you're thinking that by giving them vastly increased access to the highest levels of government, that their lobbying ability will be curbed?

And they didn't pay Democrats 6 figures to speechify on how wonderful the banks handled the Financial Crisis, and how they needed to be protected from reform?
You realize Clinton raised about 3x the SuperPAC money, much of it from Wall Street, than Trump did? And almost twice as much money overall, again much of it from Financial Institutions?
It's interesting how many politicians and even their wives were "Goldman Managing Partners" at one point in the recent past.

No, they did. For certain. And you were screaming from the hilltops about it. What changed to where you are not bothered anymore?

Goldman's rise is only ~14% since the election. How then is it alone dragging the Dow up 29%?
Your original post seems mathematically impossible.
I think you are misreading the sentence. Goldman represents 29% of the Dow's gain. The Dow isn't up 29% since the election.
oldman lobbyists are not corrupt.

Your overly clever grammar aside, how hard was it to write this with a straight face:
Goldman lobbyists are not corrupt.
I almost busted out laughing when I read that.
The same thing happens every year around this time. Stocks are manipulated higher(gasp! It's not a free market!?), so CEO's can collect their bonus's. Expect a good sized drop early next year.

Wow--thanks. I was just playing off the scarlet whore of Wall St. moniker that seems popular here.

you're right, i misread it
