By the way, terminal 2 houses Delta. So that explains everything. Not religious, just a bunch of disgruntled travelers. Actually, this happens a lot with Delta.

"The shooter was a passenger on a Canadian flight with a checked gun," Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMarca wrote on Facebook. "He claimed his bag and took the gun from baggage and went into the bathroom to load it. Came out shooting people in baggage claim. There were 13 total shot, 5 dead, 8 transported to hospital."
The TSA tweeted that there was still an active shooter as of 2:33 p.m., and advised passengers at the airport to "shelter in place." The Broward Sheriff's office tweeted that there is still an "active search" underway amid "unconfirmed reports of additional shots fired on airport property."
The attacker was wearing a dark blue Star Wars t-shirt
Look, I know Rogue One wasn't awesome, but it was better than The Force Awakens. Give Disney a chance.
A gunman opened fire in the baggage claim area of Terminal 2 at Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport Friday afternoon, killing at least five people and injuring eight others before being taken into custody, authorities said.
The shooter was probably a Wahhabi, North Korean,LBGT,Global Warming scientist, abortionist.

You can take a handgun into Canada? Wow, we learned something today.
Kind of makes you wonder what the hell is the purpose of security when an international flight allows a passenger to have a gun.

Canada is a lawless wasteland ran by beavers and mouse.

Are you saying you thought the TSA was there to do something other than harass people? Now who's being naive Dan...

Guns travel in locked containers in the baggage hold. There is a special check-in procedure. So no, security doesn't allow passenger to have a gun on a flight.

Yes, and that procedure let the gunman pick up his gun at baggage claim and start shooting. Not a good policy.

Where do you want him to pick it up? How is it different from gunman walking in from the street? You do realize that baggage claim area is outside of security perimeter?
You do realize that baggage claim area is outside of security perimeter?
Yes, which is exactly why all that security does nothing.

Great, the airport I take.
Anyone want to take bets on the religion of the shooters? I bet it's the Jainists. They are long overdue for some shit, and I don't trust people who are that chilled.
