This is why all terror suspects need to be tried in a military court, instead of the regular courts with dumb prosecutors and loser jurors.

Civilian courts are not the problem:

"In federal court, where terrorism defendants often accept guilty pleas before going to trial, prosecutors rarely lose cases. A report last year by the Center for National Security at Fordham University School of Law found that, while Islamic State-related cases are more likely to go to trial than federal cases in general, every case that was resolved between March 2014 and August 2017 resulted in a conviction."

This verdict resulted from a botched investigation and prosecution, including reportedly getting "caught lying to the court." Reportedly, "In front of the jury, a glaring hole in the prosecutors’ case was exposed by the questioning of FBI Special Agent Richard Fennern directly from U.S. District Judge Paul Byron. Outside the presence of the jury, the judge in angry tones made clear that he believed he had been misled for months by prosecutors about a key part of the government’s evidence...." The government had plenty of evidence and resources available, but instead of investigating and presenting an honest and winning case, chose to cut corners and present an incompetent case.

I thought this was a slam dunk given her participation in shopping for ammo, the casing of Disney, the home and jewelry transfer to herself and family members. And I thought she confessed. But the prosecution dicked it all up.

I guess I should have figured the FBI was arrogantly inept (or worse) as usual when they lost track of her for a while. How the F**k do you not keep relations of a major terrorist under watch for years after a terror attack?

I just don't trust our justice system. They spend too much time and money on irrelevant nonsense, give too many rights to terrorists and criminals, and then screw up big time.
We need to import the Saudi, Chinese, and Turkey systems of providing justice. Quick, economical, and effective.
