I want to talk about the Krauts.

It's not a coincidence that German culture spawned both the Nazi's AND is at the center of today's PC culture. As a society, virtue signalling is far more important than individual liberty to them. Righteousness is more important than truth. It was a recipe for fascism in the 30's, just like today.

For the record, my grandmother is a german immigrant. My baddass polish grampa knocked her up in Germany right after ww2. She came to ellis island holding my infant mother, and started her new american life in detroit, back in 1948. I still have Opa's nazi paraphernalia, pictures, etc... We even have his fucking journal.

Germans in WW2 were drunk on their own righteousness while acting out violence for the 3rd Reich. Who does that sound like?...

Were the police also right wing thugs when Obama was Executive in Chief for 8 years? What about when D's also controlled congress in 2009?

-----------

Yes

Do you believe The Police State is a left wing entity?

The Chicago 4 who kidnapped and tortured a trump supporter were so intensely righteous, that they broadcast their crimes LIVE ON FACEBOOK TO THOUSANDS OF VIEWERS. I have never seen anything like this in the US... and I've lived in every corner of our country: Texas, NY, CA, VA and IL, in both rural and city communities. Never, ever, ever have I seen this level of vitriol and violence spewed at innocent Americans.

Yep. They had a convicted kidnapper, torturer, and murderer of a Gay Man as a big speaker at the Women's March on DC, and the MSM didn't acknowledge that or thought it was "newsworthy" - Donna Hylton.

http://www.nytimes.com/1985/04/08/nyregion/the-city-7-held-in-slaying-of-man-in-trunk.html
Her self-righteousness about her torturer and murder inspired a Psychology Today Article. "He was just a homo, anyway"
https://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/199507/crime-and-punishment
Now she's a "Civil Rights" activist. However, I guess he was a real estate agent.

The BLM Ideology and the poem they recite at meetings comes from the writings of a Black Lesbian Communist Cop-killer, Black Panther and Black Liberation Army member, currently hiding in exile in Cuba after fleeing the authorities named Assata Shakur.

It is our duty to fight for our freedom
It is our duty to win.
We must love each other and support each other.
We have nothing to lose but our chains.

I guess she's replacing Mumia Abu-Jamal as the Left's most beloved radical cop-killer. Maybe because the Women and Lesbian is like an added bonus to Oppressed Minority "Righteous" Fury.

Another example of Media Lies by Omission.

Would be in your debt if you could find any Psych Journals on this (Although your IQ might be quite high!)

Righteousness turns us into Nazis.

You are truly an idiot. You don't even know what you say. Nazis are Nazis because they are unrighteous racists. They cannot distinguish between peaceful factions and non peaceful factions. There is something missing in their brains. They reason like sub humans. I know that technically, they are humans, but there is something wrong with them.

I used to like Falco. He has his own unique accent in German. Affected, but fun.

When I was a kid I thought it was "Hot Potato, hot potato, hot potato, oooh, rock me hot potato".

Falco was actually Austrian, but their accent is close to Bavarian. He was a very talented musician very much ahead of his time. And patnet style politically incorrect, as 'Jeannie' was censored by many outlets back then - which of course only had the opposite effect and made him more popular and famous. Similar to the Trump election.

Actually his mother was of Scottish origin. Hence the reddish hair and interest in business.

Need to cover all the stereotypes if we're going to cover any.

White supremacists and the KKK aren't watching NPR.

White supremacists and the KKK barely exist at all. The few that do are given such colossal media hype and coverage that it must be quite a rush.

In fact NPR now has 24/7 devoted to 2 topics

1) Trump's latest inaccurate statement

2) The nations largest terror attack which was domestically grown, they are promoting their documentary on McVeigh nonstop, of course leading in that it was the largest and home-grown.

For a while they also 24/7 covered Turmp's gmail twitter account and possible use of a linked unsecured Android phone - while being mostly silent on Clinton's email scandal during the election campaign - but they recently stopped as nobody gave a fuck.

NPR has completely gone down the drain.

Unrighteous racists? Haha, almost noone wakes up in the morning and thinks "Lets go fuck over the world and do evil shit." Soldiers almost always justify their own violence. Even Hitler believed he was doing the right thing for the human race.

THe idea that righteousness causes Naziism is absurd.

SOme righteousness is idiots such as TPB or the Chicago 4, other times people are righteous about true grivances about the behavior of criminals or corrupt governments or whatever.

Being righteous or self righteous doesn't mean you're wrong. Sometimes something is bad enough that people stand up and strongly object to it. Of course those who disagree can call it righteousness. When people righteousy claim that free speech on college campuses should be protected, they're correct, and others should join them. Righteousness is beside the point.

Sure an angry mob that won't wait for due process ? That's wrong (almost always).

I don't know what the word is to describe my feelings about Thump's comments about police doing asset forfeiture, but I could probably sound self righteous about it. WHAT THE FUCK ?

58   Patrick   2017 Feb 8, 7:05am

It's righteous virtue signalling that's the cause of fascism and Islamic terrorism.

It's that some members of the crowd are rabidly righteous and the others start to go along to signal that they are "good" too. Eventually that whole damn crowd is ready to viciously turn on anyone who is not giving off the correct PC signals.

How quickly and strongly that process happens is cultural. The Germans are definitely into shaming others for thinking incorrectly. As are the Japanese. And US leftists.

Running the click bait rag isn't what makes him evil.

THe idea that righteousness causes Naziism is absurd.

Righteousness is not a sufficient condition. It is a necessary condition for group evil behavior on another group.

Show me a historical example where righteousness was not a core motivating factor in delusional group evil...

Every war, every genocide, racist oppression, the inquisition... you find righteousness at the core of each one. Show me where I'm wrong

65   cynn   2017 Feb 8, 8:35am

I think Planned Parenthood bombers and doctor murderers might be an example of right wing righteousness taken to its extreme. Really don't hear all that much condemnation for such acts from the dominionist Mike Pence types.

It's that some members of the crowd are rabidly righteous and the others start to go along to signal that they are "good" too. Eventually that whole damn crowd is ready to viciously turn on anyone who is not giving off the correct PC signals.

And then they start one upping each other with demonstrations of righteous rhetoric.

Perfect Recent Example:
The Daily Californian, the Student Newspaper of Berkeley. The writers one up each other in successive articles.

http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/07/berkeley-student-paper-publishes-columns-praising-anti-milo-riot/

Each successive article praises Antifa more highly, calls people who opposed antifa violence "Unaware of their Privilege", insists the violence was a righteous pre-emptive strike, cutting off violence from "Radicalized White Males" at the pass. Kind of like Bush's claims about Iraq.

In fact, condemning the violence makes you one of the un-righteous:

And words are violence - which has been hinted at by our own posters: "Words Inspire Deeds therefore no anonymity, consequences for Free Speech".

67   MisdemeanorRebel   2017 Feb 8, 9:40am

Our own @Rashomon agrees, since he thinks Words lead to Deeds, therefore Speech should never be anonymous and have consequences.

The Rioters believed that since words lead to deeds, and Milo's words would lead to "White Supremacist Violence", they were justified in a pre-emptive violent strike to stop his words becoming violent deeds.

There's a psychological term for this I can't remember, but it's a helluva great excuse. "Punch Nazis". Who is a Nazi? Do they wear the SS Uniform? Or is it somebody you don't agree with?
