Can't speak for all of humanity, however, Chelsea's hubby is a born Patrician, who'd been a hedge fund loser, but then, marries into another Patrician family, and thus, doesn't have to depend upon his own success, to maintain the status of his progeny. In contrast, a person who's an alpha trader, needs no female counterpart, to prove to the world that he's a winner, albeit, only from the money making p.o.v.

That person can marry a poor woman, sure, he'd expect her to get some paid for degree at let's say some 'Sarah Lawrence/Manhattan College' grade-inflated school for idiots, but that's enough for her to be seen in his arms.
