@jazz_music So do you think the 150 million people between the coasts who were screwed over by the export of their jobs and the import of illegals, all with the enthusiastic help of the Democratic Party, should simply accept their deaths and accusations of "racism" as they die due to globalisation?

They voted for Trump because Democrats abandoned them.

What should they have done, faced with such a corrupt Democratic Party?

That's the easy way out, and it's not true for the most part.

They voted for Trump primarily because Trump talked about bringing back their jobs from China, and preventing our owners from forcing wages for poor US citizens even lower via the mass import of illegals.

The Democrats just accused Trump voters of RACISM! over and over as they were suffering from Democratic policies. Sure, Republican policies were about the same, but they were always that way. Republicans haven't changed much. Democrats have changed from defending labor to saying "fuck you, racist" to their base, over and over.

It's almost like the Democrats have been taking Koch brothers money or something...

This is probably what jazz meant by "glorious lies." "He talked about bringing back their jobs back from China" so what ?

He said that becasue people would like it, and many would be stupid enough to believe he could do it, or that he would at least try.

Re:"preventing our owners from forcing wages for poor US citizens even lower via the mass import of illegals"

Three point's here:

1) AS far as border security goes, strengthening the southern border has been a large and successful project long before Trump.

2) Trump isn't gong after employers of illegals - in fact he is one.

3) The idea that immigrant (including illegal) nannies, landscape workers, farm workers, or cheap construction workers (in the non union construction job states), are a significant downward force on wages is extremely questionable in my book, that is possibly with the exception of the construction jobs (in the non union states), to a small degree.

We are at essentially zero unemployment. The idea that having pay going up a several dollars per hour for those specific jobs, is especially great for American labor makes zero sense to me.

Or maybe they voted against Hillary?

Wouldn't it be nice to have a candidate to vote for instead of against?

So what?

This is what:

With the December jobs number, President Trump now has two full years of economic performance to compare with his predecessor, President Obama. The two biggest statistical standouts are:

Manufacturing jobs are growing at a 714% faster clip under Trump than over a similar time under Obama, and;
Under Obama, federal state and local government employment grew 6 times faster than did manufacturing jobs, while under Trump, that ratio has been reversed, with manufacturing jobs growing 5 times faster than government jobs.

Lol, you don't think that millions of illegals force wages down significantly? After Little Debbie got raided for employing almost entirely illegals, local blacks got those jobs at 40% higher wages.

This is a typical story of the problem with illegal immigration and jobs in Chicago. Cloverhill bakery hired over 800 illegals to work for about $10/hour for 10-12 hours a day. But after the raid on illegals at the company, they were left with 800 jobs to fill. So they hired blacks. The blacks were paid at a higher wage a minimum hourly wage of $14/hour.

Villegas says blacks have been pitted against Hispanics in the day-labor world “for quite some time. African-Americans were discriminated against because day-labor agencies knew they could take advantage of the undocumented workers. Everybody who wants to work should have a fair opportunity and not be taken advantage of.”

If you're pro-illegal, you're depriving black US citizens of jobs.

I did everything I could to fuck the other 13 Republicans in the primaries in the ass. Then made damn sure I spread every last minutia of negative Oppo Memes I could find on Hillary to make damn sure I screwed her in the poop shoot too!

I was a huge Trump for President fan since I was in my early 20's and every Talk show loved, I mean absolutely LOVED having Trump on to espouse his Ross Perotesque ideas onto the dotting public.

I think there is some truth to this, Though "primarily" maybe limited to the rust belt. In this they were conned, neither Trump nor anyone else is going to bring "their" jobs back. Meaning good pay with benefits, low- medium skilled union factory jobs. To believe this possible shows the stupidity and or gullibility of those voters.

But to deny that Trump's election was in part due to a reaction against Obama as a black man and Clinton as a woman is silly. Racism and misogyny are still quite strong in America.

As to illegals forcing wages lower, this could be remedied by enforcing severe penalties against employers, such as Trump who has a long history of employing illegals. It is only painful enforcement of employment laws that will keep employers in compliance and this will also lower the incentive for people to come here illegally. Is Trump in favor of this?

I really thought you were smarter than this Patrick. Applying even the most minimal critical thought to this, you would reject it as propaganda.

What it actually shows is that you've got nothing !

If the purveyors of mindless BS Trump promotion that you buy have to take comparisons from early in the the recovery, or probably even when the 2009 downturn was still in progress, what does this say about Trumps accomplishments ?

The truth: The growth trend since 2010 coninued,WITH A COST of a deficit that is well over 1 trillion per year, in supposedly awesome growth times !

I've showed you thins before. I suppose economics is suspect like science ?
