Donald Trump: Stan denies that very strongly. He denied it once before, and then he denied it again when I phoned to thank him for the letter he wrote to the Palm Beach paper saying that I was the best businessman ever, and possibly the Messiah.

Donald Trump, Jr.: That was a great letter, Dad.

Eric Trump (shouting through the door): I framed that letter, Dad.

Donald Trump: O.K., that does it. We buy. That’s why I’m so much better at this than anyone else—I hear from the experts I’ve surrounded myself with, and then I make an executive decision.

I don't think it matters the extent to which the US "stole" that part of the country or not, regardless of whether there was a payment that was part of the deal that ended the war. It's the deal we made at the time, and it might have been so much to our advantage that it's not that far fetched for many Mexicans to feel that the U.S. more or less "took it." It's history now, as is the fact that there are plenty of Mexican American citizens.

Still I don't agree with AOC at all about entitlement of of mexicans and central Americans to immigrate freely. That's absurd. (Not that there might not be a time in the future when Mexico has its act together enough that the Mexico border might be treated like the Canadian border. But Climate change makes that less likely).

Ohhh, so 'own' was that word. I don't know that I own anything particularly patriotic. I'm not sure that someone can own patriotic things. My classroom has a flag in it, that the students pledge allegiance to a couple times a week.

I'm every bit as much of a patriot as you, even if what I believe America can be and should be is somewhat different than the way you see it. The point is, that I believe in America.

I won't deny that Trump Cucks think their hat is patriotic. But Nazi's thought the swastika was patriotic (I'm being very serious here, and not implying that Trump is anythng like a Nazi. Well not to any where near that degree anyway).

The point is that patriotism in and of itself isn't necessarily inherently good.

We never see Trump with his hair blown around.
