A fundraising campaign, set up by a US Muslim community, to help repair damaged headstones at a Jewish cemetery in Missouri, has raised more than $50,000 (£40,000) in just over a day.

More than 170 headstones were toppled over and vandalised at Chesed Shel Emeth Society in St Louis. The incident occurred after 11 reported bomb threats were made against Jewish community centres across the US in one day, on top of at least 69 similar threats made throughout January.

Bullsit. It's all propaganda. These same people donate to terrorist organizations that want to kill us.

Gary, I'm surprised at you. Based on your past comments, I had expected you to allege a false flag attack, crisis actors, and moulage.

Anyway, this event illustrates a point that Patrick made already on PatNet. When Muslims do something good, it's because they have found an opportunity to defy Islam rather than following it. Islam says to subjugate and discriminate against Jews, and prohibit the construction and maintenance of synagogues, but AFAIK it doesn't say to desecrate graves. So, Muslims found an opportunity to appear to reject anti-semitism, without actually rejecting it. If they had said Jews deserve equal rights, or Judaism is just as good as Islam, then all Muslims would be required to kill them for apostasy and/or blasphemy. If they had denied part of Islam while pretending to believe the rest of it, then they would be heretics. Instead, they found a way to do something nice, without explicitly criticising Islam. It illustrates again Patrick's point that some of the people who are afflicted with Islam would not otherwise be bad people, they are rather afflicted with a terrible doctrine.

Steven Weinberg said it more generally:

"Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

The perpetrators were likely local teen pranksters or AntiFa stoking Democrats' fake news narrrative about the new administration. See, e.g., "Church Member Charged in ‘Vote Trump’ Vandalism, Burning of Black Church in Miss." The recent NYC subway vandal(s) were probably, too. The administration took this opportunity to disprove the fake narrative. Oddly, you give Muslims credit, but no one else.
