I'll tell you one reason why cops don't like to be recorded. When the time comes to convict criminals in court, a recording gives an opportunity to a smart lawyer to get him off technicalities.
Yes those troublesome technicalities, like the bill of rights.
I think it does actually. Police have been militarizing traffic stops.
They don't use SWAT teams for writing tickets.

Two separate sentences. Two separate examples of how police are more aggressive than they used to be. Don't be embarrassed, most people have to get past 4th or 5th grade to comprehend that kind of abstract thought. I have faith that someday you will be able understand this stuff, just keep working at it.
