Hi guys,

I've been noticing a phenomenon that I can't quite explain and wondering if anyone has any explanation:

I've noticed in recent months that the market has a direct relationship with silver and silver mining but an inverse relationship with gold and gold mining.

I guess the question I have is why is silver and silver mining following the market (which is counterintuitive to what you'd expect commodity metals to do).

Gold: GLD, IAU
Gold Mining: RING
Silver: SLV
Silver Mining: SLVR

that's my point... market is up and silver is up. why?

that's totally opposite of gold. Why are gold and silver showing an inverse relationship?

Who knows (maybe the man behind the curtain)..

Why did the market go up 3000 since election day? It's not like underlining fundamentals changed.

I hear you, but it's the consistency that I've been observing over the last several months that's got me scratching my head... clearly I'm missing something.
