I live in the Houston area and trust me, there are a TON of jobs, especially in the service industry, that are begging for people. Yes, I've been to the tilted kilt, and yes they wear short skirts and small tops, if you don't fill that role, don't apply for the job. Don't apply for a job in a car maintenance shop if you don't like to get grease and oil on yourself. Don't apply to a butcher shop if you're a vegetarian. Don't apply to a bakery if you have a gluten allergy. Also, remember, I'm hiring, I can hire anyone I like for whatever reason I want and not hire anyone I don't want for whatever reason (actually I don't need a reason in either case). You didn't get the job, apply for another job. Sheesh.

She should have applied for the bouncer job, and she could have flogged drunks out the door with her big, floppy tits and cellulite ballast.
The svelte tootsies to tease them and to get them drunk, then the big, fat, mean bitch to knock them out the door when their money is gone.

So a business has a responsibility to hire people who are physically unfit to perform the tasks necessary for a job? If she gets a settlement I'm gonna try out for the Washington Redskins.

Tilted Kilt
A cursory Google search reveals that the Tilted Kilt uses only attractive female waiters and dresses them scantily.
So this woman thinks its wrong for her to be rejected for being too fat, but has no problem with all men being rejected for being too male. What hypocrisy. If it's okay for a pub to hire only women in order to attract male customers, then it's okay for that very pub to hire only attractive women capable of doing that job.
And by the way, free drinks for women is highly gender discriminatory, yet women and the courts have no problem with that.

A fashion accessory worn by a social justice warrior and feminists that believes everything is sexist, racist, homophobic and/or problematic if it challenges anything concerning their feelings of self-entitlement and/or politically correct world views. This differs from hipster glasses which are often just a pair of empty frames.

I don't know what company would hire her, especially food services type because you know she will be snacking into profits, medical, and days off, in addition to bumping into patrons as she moves around.

LEAGUE CITY, Texas - One Houston area woman was hoping to get hired as either a waitress or bartender at a new Titled Kilt pub and eatery opening soon in League City.
With more than six years of experience in the food service industry Sarah Brady was certain she would get the job.

So Brady was shocked when she showed up for an interview and workers at the Tilted Kilt turned her away.
"Thank you for coming in and applying but we've already filled all the positions with more experienced candidates," she told KPRC.
Brady believes she was turned away because of her weight.
"I was really mad. I knew it was probably because I did not portray the brand image they wanted," she said.
It's a brand image that is advertised on the company's website as Tilted Kilt waitresses wear short skirts and small tops.
An emailed statement from a company representative said, "Our hiring and employment practices are in full compliance with all laws. Kilt Girls are the cornerstone of our brand. We specifically cast for entertainers, not just servers. When hiring, we seek entertainer-servers who not only fit the costume, but exemplify a personality and skill set that is friendly, courteous and customer oriented. Based on these qualifications and Sarah Brady's lack of experience in the service industry, we hired the most qualified applicants and she was not offered the position."
"They didn't even interview me," Brady said. "They don't know how experienced I am."
Terrance Robinson, a Houston labor and employment attorney, explains that laws protect people who are discriminated against for race, sex, national origin, religion and disability - but that's it.
"There's no protection under the law for weight," Robinson said. "There's nothing for bald people, short people, heavy people. There's just not protection under the law."
"I hope the next chubby girl, plus size, thick - whatever word you want to use to describe yourself - goes in and interviews with them," Brady said. "And I hope you get the job."
