Most people who are still around enjoy the disagreement and occasional 'heated' arguments, so I doubt it will devolve to 2 echo chambers. The only idiot that has gotten me to ban him did it by spamming threads with inane, repetitive, and nonsensical, bullshit and lots of pictures. Certain thread topics have gotten more productive since the ban function was implemented.

I have an alternative take. I think this is what the whole internet would look like if people were allowed to be themselves. However, you are wrong about there being two echo chambers. There will only be one, the right wing partition. Both sides are not the same. It's the right wing versus everyone else.
