What an idiot. I don't agree with it, but the reason was that they thought it should be celebrated at home for the sake of those without mothers. Or for those with mothers and not fathers, if they are going to not do one, then do neither. They're just being sensitive to young children. For example 6 year olds with no mother, that are still not completely clear on why that is.
Sure there would be smarter ways to handle it. Why not just make gifts for parents, with the option that it be a mothers day present if you have a mother. Also, this was only one loony teacher in Canada.
But they didn't say Mothers Day is offensive, which he repeats over and over trying to stir up more hate on the right (which is very easy to do these days). So this guy once again lives up to his reputation as an ingrate.

Yes, there's no repairing all the right wing dimbulb haters out there. IT get's worse with Trump in office, becasue they have to equate all liberals to be like the very worst of the worst SJWs in order to feel justified in the terrible voting decision they made.

If an idea is stupid, that is if the arguments against an idea annihilate the arguments for it then sure it's hard to get it published. This is all part of reality having a liberal bias.
It's also hard to get people to publish articles denying global warming, that is contradicting NASA, the pentagon, and over 90% of scientists, and yet it happens all the time.
