White cop pulls over a black woman in a nice car because, well obviously, she's a black woman in a nice car and therefore he thinks there's a good chance it's stolen. However, it turns out the black woman is a state attorney and his actions were not kosher. You can hear the nervousness in his voice as soon as the cop realizes his mistake. He begins lying and making things up, but cannot lie well because he's so nervous and is scared now that the state is not on his side.
This just goes to show you that the typical cop is a coward when you take away his state protection. If cops were actually prosecuted for crimes, they would not commit them. The only reason cops shoot unarmed innocent people and dogs and commit other crimes like assault, sexual assault, battery, robbery is that they know that they won't be prosecuted unless the victim is a high ranking state official like a state attorney. If only the police attitude where the same for everyone else as it is with this woman, we'd have a much safer society.
If you want honest cops, then cops need to know that they will be prosecuted for crimes. This is the only way to get better cops. Unchecked power and no accountability creates corruption and criminal behavior. All people must be watched including the watchers. No human being is trustworthy.
