Taken to it's logical end, trying to erase history of a people CAN lead to genocide. See them as less than human and you can do anything to them.

I'd agree. 1 to 2 publications is not enough, regardless of HR goals.

Are you referring to taking down monuments when you say 'erasing history?' You think that will logically lead to genocide? Is anybody at all convinced by that argument?

The only thing I've seen lead to gennoacide are beliefs which push an unjustified narrative of blaming another race/group for broad societal problems and especially beliefs which believe one type of people is superior to another. The greatest amount of human death by violence has occurred because of this. This is as tribal, primitive, and ugly as a human can be.

I'm not sure the term "European genes" is scientifically meaningful. Europe is an arbitrary political boundary that has nothing to do with geography or biology. But yes, genetic lineage can be traced to paths of migrations, and the cultural influences do cross genetically different groups because of trade and social interactions. This was true even in antiquity.
