So the Muslims driving into crowds of people weren't premeditated either?

They are mostly using trucks.

If this were pre-meditated, the guy would have bee driving this instead:

Serious question: If that were your car, you you use it as a ramming device? I'd almost understand using a beater, but that car is way too nice for that treatment.

I really admire Trump for being the only fair person in a room full of reporters asking utterly one-sided questions in a desperate attempt to support The Narrative.

Not one reporter asked about the violent anti-Fa or whatever you want to call them.

Trump really has my full support now. He's right that the news is fake. It's continuous and pervasive propaganda.

Why is there zero mention in the press of the mobs of leftists armed with bats looking to beat up people?

Be honest, Trumpcucks. You're praying to God that a Muslin carries out something worse on American soil, so you can score some points

Muslims have already done much, much worse on American soil with much less press coverage.

Another Muslim attack would be treated the same way, with zero discussion of Islam as the motive, and far less coverage overall than something done by a white male.

The press bias is ridiculous.

Equally stunning is the fact that Trump explicitly condemned the Nazis/KKKlansmen one day before and the press pretty much eradicated the fact that this condemnation ever happened, placing Trump near White Supremacists again.

I wouldn't use any car as a ramming device against innocent people, because I'm a fairly logical individual. A guy who drives his car at high speed through a crowd is a highly emotional low on logic individual who has been pumped full of hatred and uses that hatred to justify his own repeated failure. To a person, I think that this generic sentence is true. Same goes for the failed losers who use Islam as a justification. They are basically the the same individual, but exposed to a different brand of bad logic and hateful emotional appeal. Applying logic to this situation is a fools errand.

BTW - the paranoid BGMAL/Gary crowd is already claiming that this guy with the flag that hit him may have "startled" the driver and caused him to "panic" hitting the crowd - LOL Yes I am sure as he barreled down the first 150 feet toward the obvious crowd he had good intentions - only to suddenly panic in the last 25. 2/1 odds you tube will have videos claiming that the screams were fake - NO TEARS - COCKEYED ARMS!!!!!

I guess getting "startled" is the new valid reason to murder people.

As not so distant events demonstrate, the public can be startled by the police just as well. Being startled at the mere site of the police will become the norm unless cops who are startled get prosecuted just like anyone else. Those who make peaceful being startled impossible make violent being startled inevitable.

Not a single goddamn mention of the violence and threats of Left Militants. And they Lugenpresse kept deliberately trying to twist his words, to make his clear, unambiguous statements into support for White Supremacist, it's all they were interested in..

Also, how come the Media that is so quick to see obvious Nazis and identify even the most obscure Nazi Symbols in Virginia, can't see Death's Heads and Black Suns and White Power Crosses near the Dneiper River?

What's his other option? Let them vandalize his car, and possibly beat him as well?

This would be a valid argument if he was simply caught up in the blockade. After all, Antifa has frequently assaulted drivers and their cars during such blockades.

However, the driver was far away from the protesters when he gunned the car traveling at very high speeds and aiming for the crowd. It was clearly not self defense.

Yes, the Antifa assholes immediately started to assault the car before they realized they were being attacked. The losers thought it was another driver trying to get past protestors, and had no idea that it was an attack until he backed up on them at a high speed. Then the cowards fled like cockroaches.

However, none of these excuses the deliberate attempt to kill people who were not in any way attacking on endangering the driver. Furthermore, the one person he did kill was not any of the persons who were battering his car.

Everything is relative. What about your personal bias?

Reading some of the stuff you guys post, everything feels like 1998. When I was 17 and I realized that the "entertainment 'news '" was crap. Very biased. The police were jumpy, militant, and quick to "defend" themselves. Like when a couple of them ripped a neighbor kid out of his car and beat him to death for literally no reason. They didn't beat him to death on the spot, rather they beat him into a coma, and the bag of cocaine he swallowed opened in his stomach, and killed him. I knew that the democrats were definitely not the party to save us. They were all the lawyers whose business was to profit from bad, complex laws that harmed people. My high school was ~10% white, so I knew race relations were generally tense. Even though I was born to be a big time Conservative, I could already tell that the Republicans were an even worse alternative.

What were yous doing the past twenty years, to just now realize that the Media is biased?

What and when do you think changed? Or are you just that slow to woke?

I hadn't even graduated HS, but since I was in all accelerated classes, most of my friends were 3 years older. Their older siblings were already coming home from university, saddled with debt, unable to find a job to match their stupid degree.

None of this seems new to me, rather what continues to surprise me is that smart folk like yourselves are just now coming to these realizations.

Why has the "Resistance" forgotten that there is Fake News, and that Mainstream Media is controlled by a handful of Oligarchs? And that the Intel Agencies leak, distort, and tell half-truths to get preferred policies imposed or continued? Starting in 2009 when Obama took office?

Why are you so disillusioned to think that giving absolute power to Republicans will yield something better?

I won't argue that democrats are horrible and I'll never deny reality.

However, the people that go on and on and on about how bad the left is, seem to never have even considered that the Republicans may actually not be a perfect solution. We've tried Republicans ideas and solutions consistently my entire life, I feel it's safe to say that they have given us what we have now: the bad (and the good, if there is any. Yous guys will never, ever address this point) How are the Republicans a solution to the democrats?

Honestly I can't really answer this, I'm not sure what you're talking about. Care to elaborate? Unlike some people, I'll answer any question you want to ask of me, and I'm sure that the answer might be that I don't know. I'm not afraid of that, on the contrary, I'm open to learning something.

Love for one of you Trumpkins to explain the plan to fix any of these issues. Remember, it's a Republican world, and with a Republican House and Senate, nothing changes. At least with Bernie, he was working towards something, trying to get his people into legislature. Did Trump even give that a thought? Does he even know that's how our government works?

This is a failure of capitalism and Reagonomics. Both encourage all control to be centralized into the hands of a few owners. This is the entire purpose of both capitalism and Reagonomics. It's not an unintended consequence. It is the sole intention.

This is also what Republicans mean every time they say "deregulate". Deregulate means consolidate.

72   Shaman   2017 Aug 16, 1:29pm

One good thing came of all this. Donald Trump, with his usual marketing genius, put the term "alt-left" into play. Names have power. Just look at what the Leftist media did with the term "alt-right" to apply it to anyone who may like or agree with the President and then call them all white supremacists. Now we got "alt-left" to seriously abuse until its ingrained into the public consciousness. Pretty soon everyone will know and agree that Antifa and BLM are alt-left and thus violent anarchists. And SJWs will get lumped in because they deserve it and people hate them. And finally the media itself will be labeled alt-left and have no real way of combating that label since it's clearly true.
Then something will happen. Idk what!

Sometimes. Sometimes deregulate means open an industry to new players. A great example of regulation keeping out competition is Florists and Funeral Homes. The latter is locked up by Service Corp of America, and in many states it's illegal to build and sell coffins unless you are a licensed Funeral Home Operator.

To be a florist in many states you have to pass a board composed of current florists, who judge your arrangements. What justification there is for this I have no idea, nobody died from an ugly flower arrangement.

In fact the propaganda and manipulation of the Funeral Industry is so good, they're the reason we call our Parlors "Living Rooms". We need to take the dead to a special "Funeral Parlor" just for them - and pay money.

A single Donald Trump tweet just lost Amazon $6 billion in value

Donald Trump knocked $6 billion off of Amazon before most of the country was awake.

In a tweet sent at 6:12 a.m. EST, Trump claimed Amazon was "doing great damage to tax paying retailers," resulting in the loss of jobs.

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump
Amazon is doing great damage to tax paying retailers. Towns, cities and states throughout the U.S. are being hurt - many jobs being lost!
3:12 AM - Aug 16, 2017
25,272 25,272 Replies 14,480 14,480 Retweets 52,804 52,804 likes

That immediately sent Amazon shares down sharply, resulting in a decline of around $6 billion of the company's market capitalization in a matter of minutes.

Sometimes I think Trump is an idiot, but then more often I think he's actually a genius. He's absolutely right about Amazon killing retail across the US, and for double points with one Tweet, he gets to cost Jeff Bezos a few billion, the guy who constantly disparages Trump via his Washington Post.

This was a moment of sheer genius.

I don't really know what should be done about retail, but I do think Amazon has become too monopolistic and should be broken up.

It's probably a smarter approach; just support your president, either way. Rather than expend so much energy ragging on about how much the other party's president is destroying everything. You can't do much about it anyway. Try and remain optimistic
