It depends if Inherited Ancestral Guilt was passed down in the gene distribution...
Do they think that a person is a flip flopper if they don't hold the same views as their great great grandpappy?

Can someone punish the family for crimes of an individual? The scriptures are self-contradictory enough that you can get both answers from the Old Testament. Exodus and Numbers show God as “visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third or fourth generationâ€. Deuteronomy makes a separation: “Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.â€[5] Even today the question isn’t fully settled, nor is the answer clear-cut.
Nicholas Taleb is great at finding insights like that biblical ambiguity.
Never hold the same views as idiots,unless...
Taleb would be better known if he had said: "BLACK SWAN!,FUCKERS!"
"The theory was developed by Nassim Nicholas Taleb to explain:
The disproportionate role of high-profile, hard-to-predict, and rare events that are beyond the realm of normal expectations in history, science, finance, and technology.
The non-computability of the probability of the consequential rare events using scientific methods (owing to the very nature of small probabilities).
The psychological biases that blind people, both individually and collectively, to uncertainty and to a rare event's massive role in historical affairs."

" The psychological biases that blind people,"
Step your ass out of your little brain washed value system & open your eyes?
Not mentally capable?
An old friend had a general statement: "All you know is what you've been told."
Republican party of VA says he is turning his back on his own family heritage. Do they think that a person is a flip flopper if they don't hold the same views as their great great grandpappy? Is it disloyalty of the highest order to admit that said grand pappy made a mistake?
It appears that the political war over statues may be on in VA. The Republicans are no doubt emboldened by the poll showing that 62% of Americans think that the statues should remain. They may be oblivious to the importance of wording in polls like that. It will be interesting if this fight rages on.
