1. Mostly prevalent among middle aged women
2. Diagnosis wholly dependent on self-reported symptoms.
3. Unmeasurable by any test or method.
4. Mysteriously appears and disappears as convenient
5. Sufferers too in pain to work or meet obligations, but plenty of energy to attack the skeptical.
6. Previously known as "hysteria" or "The Vapors" or "Nervous disorder"
7. Alleged sufferers talk your ear off worse than Vegans and Vegetarians about it.

BigPharma donates millions and has the same kind of "Misinformation" campaign going on about Fibro My Ass.

Gotta move those GABA based neuropathy drugs.

Fun fact: Pain is not only ranked but also described. For example, Gout is a burning pain in the feet. Other pain descriptors are throbbing, aching, inching, tingling, cramping, etc. as well as dumbness/lack of sensation.

When it comes to Fibro, My Ass, Gia, the pain descriptions are all over the map. They neither use the general pain locations or the neuropathic locations. Some report cramping, others tingling, others a burning, etc. Unlike gout or diabetic neuropathy, there is no specific pains, either by description or locality, identified with MAMFAT (Middle Aged Malingering Female Attention Trolling) Syndrome. Nor is there any objective measurements for it, be that blood work, specific symptoms and locales, etc.

The only important symptom of fibromyalgia is being officially listed in the DSM as a disease and therefore being a profit center for the entire medical-industrial complex.

YEP!

It's just a GABA off-label peddling bullshit story. It's like Kuru or Viking Beserker or being cursed in an African village, totally psychosomatic.

The reason they can't get more than lyrica as an approved treatment as they can't define the disease, it's pathology, or the efficacy of treatment that isn't 100% self-reported.
