Think I'm nuts? It's the official platform of SPD:

The SPD leaders, whose party is lagging Merkel’s Christian Democrats in the polls by 15 percentage points, said Germany would have to nearly double current defense spending from 37 billion euros to meet the NATO target. That would make it the largest military power in Europe - a goal they said “no one could want” given Germany’s Nazi history.

Instead, they said, Germany should focus on building a strong European defense union and, ultimately, a European army - a stance that may resonate with a deeply pacifist German public that remains skeptical of military engagements.

Keep in mind, they laughed at Churchill, proudly declaring he was a warmongering eccentric, if not downright delusional, literally right up until the Sudentenland. And all the Liberals of the day claimed "Peace in Our Time."

We really should be thinking about how to divide Germany into Saxony, Prussia, Bavaria, Hannover, etc.and if Morganthau was right all along.

The pedo sounds desperate. Was he ordered to work harder for his rubbles or else some tasty tea will be hand-delivered to him? 😂

Your German lesson today:

#Schwachkopf (pronounced Schv-AHCT-cop-ph) [noun]. Plural is #Schwachköpfe (pronounced Shv-AHCT-koerp-fey)

It means "moron".

Apparently since I took German in High School during the Reaganlithic Era, there is some new rule in German that words posted online that have even a remotest chance of pissing of a German cabinet minister have to have the # immediately attached to the beginning of it.

But elsewhere, omit it as so:

If you have friends in Germany, the police will raid their homes and they could be prosecuted for posting this word. So offer to post them online for them!

Welcoming hundreds of thousands of unemployed foreigners into your country is expensive, particularly because the Federal Republic imposes upon itself the duty to provide all of these newcomers a monthly allowance. Single adults get 460 Euro and married adults get 413 Euro per month, and if any children are living with them they get much more. The cost of this allowance and other services provided to asylees, like housing, runs to the multiple billions every year.

Our refugees transfer a significant part of the money they receive back to their home countries. In 2023, these transfers amounted to an estimated 6.81 billion Euros. In this way and others too, Germany has become a financial resource for large parts of the developing world. The global south must merely send some of their people across our borders to harvest our naive humanitarianism. ...

This brings us to an amazing piece of investigative reporting that Junge Freiheit published at the start of this month. They discovered that left-wing organisations with connections to the Greens are circulating flyers among refugees in Bavaria, which provide instructions on how our indolent recipients of government benefits can convert the value of their prepaid debit cards back into cash...

As you can see, these flyers advise refugees to betake themselves to major supermarkets and buy 50 Euro gift cards, or vouchers. Then, they can take these gift cards to various fly-by-night exchange centres, where our leftist activists promise to coordinate their sale for an equal amount of money. Here are a bunch of refugees lining up outside of the Regensburg Green Party office to do precisely this:

Gift cards are, of course, worth slightly less than their nominal value, so somebody is going to no little expense here, all for the purpose of increasing the amount of untraceable cash refugees have in their pockets. ...

All that remains is one burning question: Why is the Green Party, specifically, so interested in increasing the amount of cash available to refugees? And why are they so eager to disguise their association with these efforts? It smells through and through of corruption.

There are so few if any women that can lead well at the top levels of a company or country. I'll never vote for a woman POTUS. Merkel is proof of the that. I'm not big into German politics, but I've heard enough in passing that the German economy is going in the shitter.

You cannot blame Merkel for that. The blame goes to Biden and Nuland for blowing up
Nord Stream 2 - the Russian pipeline that supplied cheap gas to Germany and Europe.

Partially. German govt have been spineless EU and US bootlickers for decades now. Time to send them packing and replacing them with a Germany First government.

For some reason, the thought of a powerful, nationalist Germany scares other countries in Europe.

https://www.eugyppius.com/p/magdeburg-christmas-market-attack

Yesterday, a Saudi-born man named Taleb al-Abdulmohsen rented a black BMW sport utility vehicle and drove it into a crowd at the Christmas market in Magdeburg, killing five people and injuring more than 200. It is the second such attack in German history, following the 2016 Berlin truck attack by the unsuccessful Tunisian asylum seeker Anis Amri, exactly eight years and one day prior.

The assault was captured on surveillance video...

German police arrested al-Abdulmohsen almost immediately, near his smashed-up SUV. In this image the police have him at gunpoint and he lies face-down on the ground...

Al-Abdulmohsen is a 50 year-old psychiatrist and psychotherapist who lived in Bernburg, 46km south of Magdeburg. He first came to Germany from Saudi Arabia in March 2006, when he was granted political asylum. German authorities repeatedly refused Saudi Arabian requests that he be extradited. The Saudis accused him of terrorism and human trafficking, for alleged complicity with efforts to smuggle Arab girls to the European Union. Al-Abdulmohsen finally obtained refugee status and permanent residence in Germany in July 2016, and for years he has worked at a government clinic in Bernburg, where he has treated patients for problems with addiction.
