I was doing some reading today and stumbled upon a startling statistic. Since the Moynihan report, the landmark study that LBJ used to launch his "Great Society" initiative to raise spending to fund entitlement programs targeting poor inner city blacks, black single motherhood rates are nearing 80% (compared to 27% for white women). This is more than double what it was BEFORE LBJ launched his initiative. It literally made the problem TWICE as bad as before.



Literally 4 in 5 black children today are growing up without a father or mother, and black women are having record numbers of children without fathers who are now totally dependent on the state for survival. From Baltimore to Newark, millions of single parent black families are on the welfare tab and voting solidly Democrat for the past 50+ years. With this instability, another generation succumbs to the same mistakes, dependent on the same welfare programs, and never ever climbing the ladder of social mobility. WTF is happening here?

This is insanity. It's cultural suicide. Liberalism/Leftism is a cultural cancer and the effects on the black community have been devastating.

During the shootings that birthed BLM, there was a common theme. The youth was unarmed, and shouldn't have been killed. On the other hand, they mostly had rap sheets and weren't exactly pillars of society.

What really got me was the mothers (or alternates) who would consistently say "He was a good boy." Good boys with rap sheets. Are these moms completely out of touch? After some thought, I realized that the rap sheets tended to be minor crimes that helped pay the bills. What more could a mom want under the circumstances. It's a world that I can only vaguely comprehend.

I don’t want to convert them to anything besides:

1. Finish high school.
2. Get a job.
3. Get married before children.

If they can do those 3 things, they have an exceedingly high chance of not becoming victims of generational poverty.

That bar may seem low to you but black graduation rates are abysmal. Black unemployment has reached its lowest levels in years under Trump but its still higher than other minority groups probably because blacks are dropping out of school at higher rates due to having little support in a single parent household.

You forgot no abortion and no money to pay for the non aborted fetus to their 18th birthday.

Which makes me wonder, someone on here said that 1 of those abortions could have grown up and found the cure to cancer. What I wonder is how man would grow up and
go on a killing spree? I'm guessing many more than would find the cure for cancer.

Unwed Mother's Homes. No more having a baby and getting rewarded with a home and all the utilities paid by taxpayer.

At 8AM LaShanda doesn't keep sleeping her 40 in her government provided apartment off.
At 8AM LaShanda hears the sound of a Trumpet "Reville Reville Revillie" calling her to begin sweeping and mopping her Dorm. She won't sleep past 8 because it's lights out at 9PM with a curfew.

Once young black girls learn that having a baby out of wedlock isn't a ticket to free living in their own place where they can drink and screw and party to the heart's content, but a pain in the ass where they have a supervised schedule in a full of work training and work, with a curfew and no alcohol or weed permitted, it'll stop.

Black women suffer from high obesity rates, which is in large part due to cultural values, I.e., believing that a large jelly ass and general fatness is attractive. I spend a lot of time in DC, and the female newscasters and weather people on the telly are all fat. We are all going to pay for their lifestyle choices.

As a quick parenthesis, the people who say "Life handed me lemons" often went to the lemon grove, picked some lemons, then left and got a ladder to pick some more.

People who say "Life handed me lemons" more often than not brought most of the trouble on themselves through doing stupid (not necessarily wantonly evil) shit.
