We're Screwed.... Welcome to the Clueless Generation.

A new survey has found that a third of young millennials in the U.S. aren’t convinced the Earth is actually round. The national poll reveals that 18 to 24-year-olds are the largest group in the country who refuse to accept the scientific facts of the world’s shape.

YouGov, a British market research firm, polled 8,215 adults in the United States to find out if they ever believed in the “flat Earth” movement. Only 66 percent of young millennials answered that they “always believe the world is round.” Science teachers across the U.S. will be shaking their heads after learning that nine percent of young adults answered that they have “always believed” the planet was flat.

Another nine percent said of young adults said they thought the planet was spherical but had doubts about it. In a disturbing display of indecision, 16 percent of millennials said they weren’t sure what the shape of the planet was.

I've noticed that too. They think they are being totally original and outrageous.

Yep, that's a big change from the 44% of their elder who believed the earth was created 6000 yrs ago.

I ask millennial waiters "Is the world round?"
If they say no I'm out of there.

At least the elders know the Earth is round:

...."Seventy-six percent of adults age 25-34 say they’ve always believed the Earth is round, compared to 82 percent of ages 35-44, 85 percent of ages 45-54, and 94 percent of adults 55 and over."

Millennials, not so much.....

And over 50% of Millennials aren't sure if they're boys or girls, so there's that.

Just going to log in here to point out the obvious.

If you read the question, you will find that the only correct answer to this question is Other/not sure. At first glance, the non-thinking individual might answer that they have always believed that the earth was round. However, this is obviously not true if you stop to think for a second. Ask a few 2 or 3 yr olds if the earth is round or flat. They won't know what the earth is, much less have an opinion as to the shape. At some point, we learn about the earth and the solar system, and we find out the earth is round, it is more than 6K years old, evolution created us, and global warming is due to industrial emissions :-P.

The most interesting thing about this story is the reaction of the grouchy old timers bitching about the young idiots, because it makes them feel better about their own intelligence. Odd.

That's not millenials, that's already the next generation, whatever the term will be. Because idiotic education system ran by liberal retards promotes "gender fluid" bullshit to them.
