Lets recap this:
A. We have been told for the longest time that Trump is a Russian puppet.
B. Obama was sanctioning Russia without much success for years.
C. Trump's sanctions are finally harsh enough to cripple Russian economy. They are probably similar to sanctions that crippled Venezuela.
D. It appears that A is wrong and perhaps Obama/Clinton were Russian puppets as their sanctions did not work? Will we keep hearing MSNBC bloviating that Trump is a Russian puppet?
Kudos to Trump. He has finally done something right. A conspiracy theorist in me says that Trump did this to kill competition in oil, gas, and aluminum to benefit American companies - no tariffs needed, no talks, he just found a way how to do this under non-economy premise. In any case saying that he is Russian puppet will sound rather stupid from now on.
