I also remember a very popular HR policy accross every company in America was to make damn sure the company didn't give any one employee over 17 hours or they would have to buy Obamacare for the employee. I also remember companies not giving more 35 hours to hourly employees because the Obama admin considered anything over 35 hours fulltime and the companies would have to pay over time on the other 5 hours.

It was really hell under Obama. Can you imagine those 10's of thousands of employees that just started last year at Home Depot when Trump got elected. They are getting a $200 bonus on top of getting better wages, and more hours they ever saw under Obama.

Yep. Before Obamacare the ~80 person company I work for offered great coverage in a group policy. If an employee already had coverage, such a ex-military with Tricare Prime, the company would pay the annual premiums. When Obamacare kicked in, the coverage price went way up along with deductibles. Also, Obamacare stopped the company from paying for outside policies such as Tricare. The cost of insurance increased so much that the company did the "no more than 29 hours" bit for many employees.

I am sure that many other small to mid size companies had the same experience. This Obamacare, along with the immigration issue, is likely why Trump carried nearly every county in the country outside of the illegals/welfare/limo-lib concentrated areas.

This is not discussion of Obama's policies. We all agree on ObamaCare's failure.

Now, why are we putting 10K per worker of additional government debt and only getting $200 in bonuses?

Or are you guys will be the same as with Bush and only admit his failures 5 years after the fact?

March deficit was 20B wider than projected, so my guess this tax cut will end up costing closer to 3T total vs 1.5T advertised assuming there is no big recession. What do you think will happen to debt/GDP ration once we hit a recession sometime in the next ten years?
