To regain respect, the MSM has to tone down the hysterics and be right, even if it means abandoning their Owner's drive to push Neoliberal Hegemony.

But out of desperation to stop the Trumpian Wave and maintain the Free Trade/Anti-Nationalist Globalist position, and restore their lost respect, they just keep uping the ante, so they're caught in a negative feed back loop.
