Restaurant Owner Who Booted Josh Earnest Says Conservative Employees Too Triggered By Benghazi

The owner of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia says that she booted White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders because her gay employees were triggered over the Trump administration's transgender military ban, according to an interview she gave to the Washington Post.

In a nutshell, Sanders was joining a party of eight booked under her husband's name. The owner, Stephanie Wilkinson, was at home when her chef called to let her know that the staff was highly offended at Sanders's presence:

Sarah Huckabee Sanders had just walked in and sat down, the chef informed her.

“He said the staff is a little concerned. What should we do?” Wilkinson told The Washington Post. “I said I’d be down to see if it’s true.”

“Tell me what you want me to do. I can ask her to leave,” Wilkinson told her staff, she said. “They said yes.”

Several Red Hen employees were gay, she said. They knew Sanders had defended Trump’s desire to bar transgender people from the military. This month, they had all watched her evade questions and defend a Trump policy that caused migrant children to be separated from their parents.

At the end of the night, staff members wrote on their employee whiteboard "86 Sara Huckabee Sanders" - a code for throwing someone out of an establishment. One of the servers photographed the whiteboard and posted it to his public Facebook wall.

It's not. The problem are the leftoids though that will sue, prosecute and/or harass any owner who kicks out (or refuses service to) a member of the LGBTQ+++++-------XYZGENDERRQUEERAWESOMO community, or any black or other of their favorite "minorities" du jour - remember Starbucks? I'm all for the right to refuse service to anyone. The hypocrites are the leftoids who selectively apply this.

Maybe but she acted according to store policy and had much more reason to kick them out than the restaurant owner had with Sanders. I agree that they should not automatically involve the cops all the time but the problem is lawsuits and cops are the only ones shielded from them, that's why policies like those are put in place in the first place (similar for schools).

Being aggravated or engaged on social media is not the same as involving and applying violent government coercion which is what the leftoids do or trying to do every time, IN ADDITION to throwing fits in the blogosphere. Next.

As if protesting refusal to bake a cake for gays is somehow inconsistent with refusal to serve someone whose beliefs and actions make life miserable for hundreds of thousands of gay people. The attempt is so far off as to be Not Even Wrong.

You mean like separation of families at the boarder, that violent government coercion, which totally back fired on Trump and got Sanders kicked out of the Red Hen?


They are enforcing current law. Crossing the border without properly applying for asylum is a crime in every nation. Kids are separated for many reasons, often for their own benefit as the parents may be traffickers and not their parents, or the single parent has abducted their child against the will of the other.
