I'd rather say: take San Francisco back. Neither Grievance Artists nor NPCs are a majority in SF, contrary to popular opinion. There are still a silent majority of moderates, Classical Liberals, and Libertarians here. The problem is that they're cowed and afraid to speak their true thoughts when confronted with this nonsense. I'm not afraid, I'll tell the truth. I don't care if I lose my job. It’s not just Arts and Music that they want to add in, its liberal arts in general art is a pretty vague thing. What is the point in making something to focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math if it’s just going to be diluted back down to nothing by including everything else? The whole point was to try to kick start creating more engineers and scientists because we have a shortage and a massive over abundance of liberal arts majors with pointless degrees.

STEM is the shittiest acronym on the face of the planet. Why try to group the disciplines?

Biologists suck at Chemistry
Chemists suck at Biology
Physicists suck at Biology
Biologists suck at Physics
Engineers suck at Chemistry
Mathematicians suck at Biology
Artists suck at everything other than art

We have some people that can crossover. For example, I am a Physical Chemist. There are also biochemists and biophysicists. But for the most part, my experience in academia is that people aren't even that proficient at their own discipline, let alone another. This acronym has become a source of frustration with me personally because the high schools are now hiring "STEM supervisors" which is usually double speak for "I suck at all sciences so I just tell people I'm STEM".

As far as SJW go, they've been at it for a good 20 years already. When I was in graduate school, nearly every fellowship was designed for a women or a minority. Whites and asian males were excluded from such awards. They were forced to slave away while the less qualified people were handed fellowships and pushed through the program. Moreover, if you are a female, and have a 3.5, you can get into any grad school you want for Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering. Harvard, MIT, no problem. You are automatically accepted. Guys...the odds probably go down 95%.

Girls and coding. Great. Here is my pager. You fix 40-year-old COBOL applications at 2 in the morning when they crash.

Companies dumb enough to give these people reigns deserve everything they get.

How quickly we forget. Actually, the equal opportunity hall pass for minorities and women has been going on since 1970 or so. Wait, you mean 48 years of this shit isn't long enough for them to 'catch up'?

Active discrimination against high achieving white males and Asians is nearly 50 years old, and SJWs act like it just started yesterday. They are calling for even MORE discrimination.

You've practically answered the question right there. Those with a STEM background specializing in one area won't be experts in other areas, but at least they have some general background in the other areas and a general background needed to understand and be easily trained in other areas at a basic level. Plus, those with STEM degrees probably at least did something in their life that was intellectually difficult.

You've practically answered the question right there. Those with a STEM background specializing in one area won't be experts in other areas, but at least they have some general background in the other areas and a general background needed to understand and be easily trained in other areas at a basic level. Plus, those with STEM degrees probably at least did something in their life that was intellectually difficult.

Perhaps you missed the part where I said there a few who can bridge the gap. For the most part, those that specialize in a subject like Chemistry are not even required to take biology. Degrees with the acronym stem in it end up taking watered down versions of every class and end up being proficient at nothing.

We are in a trade was with China. And I am all for policies against China the country. As an Asian American born here, your comments would be considered offensive. Not that I care...most Asians don't. That's why we are discriminated against in the first place. But it doesn't matter because Asians in general just keep working to get ahead. You seem to be equating Asians Americans with China.
