Looks like a bit of a mess right now.

Also looks like the Diverse "New French" Inhabitants of Paris are having a "Blast.

I hear Macron is envious of Trump, with just a 25% approval rating

Isn't France the country that shut down the yellow vest protest? If I remember correctly, they even shot people in the streets.

COVID finally disappeared the Yellow Vest protests I think.

Only matters for the moment.

In the coming Islamic Republic of France, those farmers will have a lot in common with the farmers in South Africa.

Let's be frank: the flood of Muslim refugees into Europe has not been an unalloyed success.

It's not that all Muslims are incapable of integrating into Western cultures. Really, it's not.

It's just that a lot of them can't, especially when they emigrate from medieval societies and are dumped into the modern world. Their reaction is not to adjust to the culture around them; it's to demand the culture reflect their own values.

They emigrate from what Donald Trump inelegantly calls "shithole countries" and work to recreate the shithole conditions elsewhere.

The Telegraph (an excellent newspaper, by the way!) has a story today about a disturbing story that took place in France. A young Islamic girl who was inching toward integrating into her adopted country was severely beaten and put into a coma by classmates who considered her an apostate.

A 14-year-old girl was severely wounded and left in a coma after being beaten outside her school by three other teenagers over what, her mother suggested, could have been down to un-Islamic behaviour.

The French government has launched an investigation over the attack in the southern city of Montpelier, which has caused political uproar across the country.

It came days after the head teacher of a Parisian school resigned following death threats after she asked a student to remove her Muslim veil, sparking widespread outrage.

The victim, named as Samara, is now out of her coma but was “seriously wounded” in the attack on Tuesday afternoon outside the Arthur Rimbaud College in Montpellier. The school is in the La Mosson-La Paillade district, a low-income suburb with many residents of immigrant origin, prosecutors said.

No way. There's not that much space to stack anything that high.

The buildings you see in the background of the tower also don't exist. That's a major tourist trap, there's no way that would be allowed.

It's important to recognize what happened here and how it shifted the dynamics. The US is now the problem child as Europe finally overwhelmingly voted to get back to its roots and run the leftoids out of town. At this point, cautiously long Europe. The US has to follow in November.
91   mell   2024 Jul 7, 11:37am

RN suddenly 3rd place from 1st. Left coalition projected to win though it will likely mostly be a lame duck govt due to all 3 coalitions having enough seats to block. We know there was a lot of candidate scheming and tactics going into this run off to prevent a win of the right, but these numbers make you go hmm, seen this before?

No, same as last time - the Neoliberal Globalists and the Far Left worked hand in hand to deny seats to LePen, in many races withdrawing candidates for the strongest of them in that area. So if the Socialists were strongest say in Lille, the Macron Globalist party withdrew and their supporters told to vote Socialist.

Part of the FarLeft-CorporateSocialist alliance.

HOWEVER, even with the chicanery, Le Pen's party has enough strength to block any measures they don't like, so this is a victory.

In Europe, the boomers of the spirit of 68 there are militant about maintaining their pensions, no matter how much the young people suffer, and the Left/Globalist parties milk this fear to prevent reform.

Not in the bag, but should have come out 2nd at least
96   AmericanKulak   2024 Jul 7, 12:04pm

Don't let the Media fool you - LePen is picking up a dramatic number of seats.

Macron got clobbered, 2nd place. The Far Left is an unstable coalition of Left, Ultra Left, Greens, etc.

I think the absolute must is to get rid of the RINO/fake Liberal Corporate-Fascist NWO Globalists like Macron first. Then let the Far Left fuck everything up.
97   AmericanKulak   2024 Jul 7, 12:06pm

The president gambled that French voters would block the far right as they have in the past.

But the National Rally instead won a larger share than ever in the first round of voting on 30 June.

More than 200 candidates from the Macron-backing Ensemble alliance and left-wing New Popular Front stepped down in seats otherwise facing a three-way battle, in a so-called “republican front” against the far right.

Agreed but the lamestream media will spin this and try to take the wind out of trends in other countries. I really do think these days the only generations where the leftoids have a majority are boomers and millenials, maybe Gen z slightly but with the boomers (yep the former 68s are now the biggest globalists) dying out it's really only their Millenial childless hag spawn left which is rooting for the marxists

The left wing National Popular Front won today as the largest party in the French parliament.

So how will they govern with the "Macron moderates" coming in second place, and the right wing party coming in third ?

Does the left wing party in France have enough Macron moderates in parliament to pass legislation like more tax increases and an even more increase in immigration numbers ?

or will there be such a sudden and smug change in direction that it will alienate the Macron moderates and they will side with the right wing party ?

I'm glad to see that they now realize they are facing globohomo apocalypse, but that doesn't excuse them for fucking up the US government with Vietnam and their farcical adventures in Algiers against the rapefugees. Evern further back, the Sikes-Picot Agreement divvying up the territories of the former Ottoman Empire. Greedy gaullist fucks.

.

supposedly Macron's party (Ensemble or Together !) is at worse "moderate" and leaning center right .... but that is in the context of French politics

so how many within Macron's party will split off and join the center right and right wing coalition ? it does not take that much to get them to have a majority of the 577 seats in France's parliament

I agree as I wonder how much the French government will veer left and be a lot worse than Macron's party.

Will it have even more of an open border + welfare state state ?

Look at the Labor Party victory in United Kingdom.

I wonder how much emboldened they get and overreach to the point to cause a major shift in the electorate whereas the Labor Party is voted out in a relatively few of years.

As in this country, it's the same in France - a double-down on globohomo. When every daughter is violated by a rapefugee, and defense of one's home becomes a capital crime, then hopefully the sheeple will realize what they have enabled.

I see it within my own circles of close friends, friends, and then acquaintances. The worm is slowly turning - first it was the clot shot, now it's 2nd Amendment repression. Those of us who maintained the lonely vigil of truth will soon be joined with others from whose eyes the scales of propaganda have fallen away. It is a fraught and fearful vigil.

The left wing National Popular Front won today as the largest party in the French parliament.

Let's look at the numbers.

The media is pushing the "LePen came in third and last, *Sad Trombone* for them, Socialists first, Yee hah!"

En actualitie hon hon hon, National Rally (RN) won 143 seats, which is a significant increase from their previous best showing of 89 seats in 2022. So they grew their Assembly by about half again what they had.

What did the Socialists do? They got 180 seats. And Macron? Lost to 160 seats. And they only kept RN from winning more by colluding with each other very aggressively in scores of districts.

So that's pretty impressive. It's actually big GAINZ for the RN and the "First, Second, Third Place" crap is a globaloney media talking point:

180 Commies-Socialists
160 Gloablist/Liberals/French RINOs
140 Populist Right

And it has real power. With 143 seats for RN, it's a HUNG Parliament, which is brand new territory for France in the modern era.

And when you consider how volatile France usually is...

Prepare for fun

577 seats in France parliament

So far the forecast is this :

about 204 seats go to center right ("French Republicans") and far right

196 seats for New Popular Front (left wing) and non-affiliated center left parties

How many of the 160 seats for Macrons Party (the French "moderates") and the 7 non-affiliated centrists party likely are to join the center right to get to 289 seat majority ?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the Washington Post article today, and it seems the New Popular Front is more pro-immigration than Macron's party. Adn it wants to undo Macron's reforms such as to pensions and social welfare spending. Seems like a pipe dream even more than what the United Kingdom's Labor Party plans.

"The New Popular Front wants to lower France’s retirement age and vastly expand government spending on social welfare, environmental protection and health care."
108   AmericanKulak   2024 Jul 7, 10:51pm

9.3 million voted RN ("far-right") today.
5.1 million voted NFP (socialist) today.

The people of France wanted a right-wing government to put France first.

Instead, they're getting the opposite.

(He's leaving out the centrist vote, but again, Macron and the Reds colluded, without that collusion, we might be looking at a RN majority)

Not sure Macron would form a coalition with the French Republicans (center right) AND Le Pen (far right) if Le Pen was to make significant concessions.

I am reading the New Popular Front (far left) wants to undo Macron's reforms such as with pensions and social welfare spending. That means higher taxes and at best slightly greater deficits (and debt to GDP ratio).

Macron is supported by the banking / financial elite so that could be enough for him to form with the center right.

.
110   AmericanKulak   2024 Jul 8, 11:28am

NPF (socialist): 7M votes, 180 seats.

Macron's party: 6.6M votes, 159 seats.

RN ("far-right"): 10.1M votes, 142 seats.

This disparity is the result of Macron and socialists conspiring against LePen. 200 candidates dropped in specific regions, coalescing their parties against RN.

How many in the Macron party is going to go along with that ?

And will that be what drives enough of them to form a coalition with the parties to the right of center ?

Question is, which is more important to the Globalists? Keeping Immigration high, fueling artifically high rents, or cutting pensions and social welfare?

They can't disprove the Law of Milton Freedman, which is you cannot sustain an open border along with a welfare state.

It will be fun to watch how Macron manages this.

Numbers vary. But as far as I can tell, Le Pen’s “far right” party received around 10.5 million votes. The Commie Coalition of “far left” parties got around 7.5 million votes. And the now bantam-sized, “center-right” RINO party of Macron got only 6.2 million votes.

You might wonder why Le Pen’s party lost, despite getting the most votes. It was because France’s far-left and center-right candidates worked together. In each district where Le Pen might have won, one or the other opposing candidate dropped out at the last minute and told their voters to support the other candidate. So, while the majority of French voters wanted the “far right” party, they discovered that what they thought were two traditional opposing party systems are really just a uni-party.

Alas, the predictable result that shocked reporters was that Marine Le Pen is now finding out the hard way that no woman is above the law:

The probe, which follows a preliminary inquiry, was opened last week over
suspicions of embezzlement, forgery, fraud and a candidate on an election
campaign accepting a loan, the Paris prosecutor's office confirmed to
POLITICO.

That will teach her! Nowhere in Politico’s article did it wonder whether Le Pen’s sudden new criminal prosecution was politically motivated. Nor did it compare Le Pen’s legal problems with the Orange Man.
