I was just about to say this. After seeing the lunacy of her green deal document, I'm starting think they want her to be radical and push the invisible line, so they can eventually oppose her and say "now now...lets be reasonable" and come off looking sensible, responsible, and tempered. Knowing who AOC's followers are, and why they follow her, can be very useful info to a campaign.

AOC has had enormous success getting media attention, and so I think she's recently had some help from some very skilled comrades after proving herself to them by getting elected.
