They don't want it gone, they want it censored and blinked out when inconvenient. It is an important monitoring tool for them.

They are attempting to intimidate people into silence. No calls for revolution, no incitement to violence.

@Onvacation - Fatal Attraction - but I'd recommend the original version of that film - Play Misty For Me - it was Clint Eastwood's first directorial debut.
I first saw Play Misty For Me while being randomly stoned on the weekend in my 20's on PBS. Brutal film in that state of mind and the film is terrifyingly believable.

Punk was conservative. Good or bad the songs were more about family than the Classic rock genre or the rest of Pop for that matter. But look at all of the punk rockers, they came from middle class families with moms and dads and siblings. They rebelled through their music, but they were singing about what they knew best family. Yeah good ole family values, Syd Vicious own mum smacked him and killed him.
