That and all the debris showering down on the poor Ukes. Since the debris were moving from left to right in the screen, depending on the time of day (based on the shadows of the tramlines) the blast could have come either from the east or the west.

Then again, if the shadows from the tram towers are visible in the photo, that implies that the sun is behind the camera. Hence, for the debris cloud to obscure the sun, the explosion would have to have occured behind the camera. This means the debris would have to rain down from right to left. Under these assumptions, I have to side with HT and that it's a possible fake.
