What amazes me is that there are people that think tarrifs will undo that. IT's been understood for many decades that the best that will do is cause inflation, where our pay goes up almost as much as the cost of living. I guess that's good for highly leveraged investors. But everyone else will be hosed royally.
The United States, and not Mexico or Venezuela, became a superpower because of Tariffs. As did Germany, South Korea, and Japan.
Lack of Tariffs ruined Free Trade Britain, which industrialized because of Tariffs as well as a ban of exporting Fuller's Earth and Wool.
The Great Thing about Southern Secession was that it finally allowed the American System to fully deploy without resistance for Rich Landlords, causing a huge boom in the US Economy.
Rich Landlords opposing tariffs and wanting cheaper, better goods from Europe rather than protect and develop native industry is why Mexico industrialized very slowly between 1800-1990.
Nearly everyone understands that cheaper labor in a global economy is the reason that unskilled labor is not paid well in this country relative to our cost of living.
What amazes me is that
What amazes me is that democrats and some republicans want to bring in and/or allow in enormous numbers MORE of unskilled people. In fact, the anti-Trumpers seem to want to make the USA a beacon for unskilled people.
You keep posting these Epstein/Trump memes, as if it wasn't released in actual provable court documents that Trump kicked Epstein out of Mar-Lago, and helped the case against Epstein almost 15 years ago when very few would.
Yes, becasue we all know there isn't a lot of racism in Mexico ?
Is the lib in the cartoon perplexed becasue he's thinking that that Mexico voter ID laws are definitely not excluding many of the poorest Mexicans from voting ?
Gotta love it. One of the more politically corrupt and racist countries in this hemisphere does it, is an argument that it's not racist.
Aren't you worried about "Foreign Influence"
Funny how Libs are falling over themselves NOT to verify citizen eligibility for voting, in both local and national elections, while whinging about a few hundred thousand (or less than 1% of Hillary's Campaign Spend) by Russia, mostly on BLM and Bernie promotion.

Voter ID laws in progressive Europe: Iceland Voting is voluntary for all citizens 18 years or older. All voters must present photo ID before being allowed to vote. To prevent double-voting fraud, every voter is checked against the national voter database before their ballot is placed into the ballot box Netherlands The registration office of each municipality in the Netherlands maintains a registration of all residents. Every eligible voter receives a personal polling notification by mail some weeks before the election, indicating the polling station of the voter's precinct. Voters must present their polling notification and a piece of photo ID (passport, identity card, or drivers license (a passport or ID is compulsory from the age of 14)). Such photo ID may be expired but not by more than five years. Sweden When physically voting on election day, every voter must provide a valid identification document (such as a passport, drivers license, or an ID card from the Swedish Tax Agency). If a voter is missing valid identification, another person with valid ID-documents can certify the identity of the documentless voter.

AKA
All I see is crap about "White Supremacy".
Yes we know, Orange Man Bad!
Yeah, totally Moderate view there, Marcus. You're so not a Far Left Socialist.
And given Biden's age, it was indeed a dream.
Sure. That's at least partially why the current criticism of Trump is so hypocritical.
Also why loudest DNC voices today are calling Obama a Nazi... ^^ these are the anti-Trumpers being mentioned.
Or they are too busy trying to bury Epstein evidence.

Facts over fantasy Marcus.

We should follow progressive European practices here...
I missed the Bill Clinton and Obama War Movie myself. Is it available on Blu Ray?
