Why do you so desperately want to protect obviously corrupt politicians like Joe and Hillary?

It's like we are watching 2 separate movies.

Agreed. Lock them up if they are guilty. BobD says
how does it help America to have a foreign leader announce investigations on TV?

If you're talking about the Ukrainian's, it would be nice if their president would root out corruption and announce it on tv.

Why would you not want to get to the bottom of the Biden Burisma and the Clinton foundation scandals?
3572   Onvacation   2019 Nov 22, 6:01am

The corrupt Ukrainian's are (were) the biggest foreign donors to the Clinton foundation before Hillary lost and all the donations dried up. Why do you suppose that is?

Tell us, how does it help America to have a foreign leader announce investigations on TV?

Did he (Ukrainian President) announce investigations? All witnesses have testified that they were not TOLD there was quid pro quo, it just LOOKED improper. Words matter. Was Biden not the sitting VP at the time Trump was discussing his son being on a board of a corrupt company, with no skills that would benefit said company? Is and was Biden a private citizen at the time of the phone call? In theory, couldn't every single citizen of our country be considered a political rival of Trump? If Trump is directing people not to testify, are they legally required to testify regardless?

You know the answers to these questions. I didn't watch this week, but to make a point I probably will. All 30 hours or whatever we're at now. Already 12 or so hours deep anyway from last week. If you're not watching the whole thing and going to ANY website or publication or news station, you are being fed bull shit.

Just watch the damn things and you'll be singing a different tune. The problem is most people are looking at this like a football score. You check a website and your team only lost by 3 points, so it looks close. If you watched the actual game you'd see it was a fucking blowout. That's my point. Any objective observer can see is a shockingly piss poor game plan by the Dem's and the game is out of control. They're just trying to make the loss seem better by using a massive media arm that is fully in their court.

I've been listening and when there is something I hear that I want to see I go back and watch, like Jim Jordan filibustering then accusing the witness of filibustering. Classic Republican hypocrisy.

Said in this thread or some other. HUGE difference between listening and watching even certain sections. Watch the whole thing. This isn't what you think it is. You're hung up on a Jordan clip which is a dead give away for how you're getting your information. DON'T go to any news site or tv/cable station. Ever. Just watch the feed where there's zero commentary ever.

Who has and when have you been censored here? If it's a going concern of yours do a quick screenshot on posts you think might be censored so you can make your case. Regardless of what our conversations are here, I won't flag anything on this site. So not sure what issue you're having.

BobD says
I don't agree with you. That is the problem. I think the president should be involved in efforts to help all Americans, Not just his political ambitions

We don't have to agree. That's not the point. The POTUS cannot help ALL American's. That's impossible. The backbone and meaning of America (even from foreigners) is that you help yourself and you have the option to succeed doing that here versus other countries (generally speaking, not always of course). Otherwise people would be fleeing to Ukraine and Russia from here, right?

Has the economy not been better for MOST (majority) Americans the last couple of years? It didn't turn out that way under Obama and I voted for the guy. Bush was a cluster fuck, hence the vote for Obama. I wasn't old enough to have a full grasp of Billy Clinton, but based on my understanding of the time, he was seemingly a good President and I'd maybe vote for his version of Democrat today if running against Trump. 90's Clinton, not today's six figure a speech Clinton.

I just think he shouldn't use his office to help himself politically.

This is the crux of the entire conversation though. Biden is a private citizen. How has Trump helped himself politically? Can Biden not be investigated, ever? Are we not allowed to investigate past government employees (let that word soak in) for corruption in fear they will or may run for office? This entire impeachment thing hinges on Biden and has nothing to do with Ukraine and aid to that country. Literally nothing if you watch the hearings. Why?

And why was it okay for Obama (yes he knew) to allow the FISA court to investigate Trump, who at the time was on actual ballots, in actual states, running against Hillary. You understand the double standard and massive hypocrisy, right? Trump is using similar weapons that were used against him LEGALLY, as did Obama. That has been my entire point. Hate Trump all you want, but Obama showed him the way and now he's just doing what every good politician does, game the system. The difference with Trump is he already has fuck you money and assets. This is a game for him. I frankly think he's just having fun with this and fucking with people. Kind of a twisted, retirement hobby type job. Problem is, certain American's are too stupid to see the game or understand it. He's the great American troll and is having the time of his life!

I'm hoping he does a legitimate autobiography after all of this. He's cocky enough to shove it in everyone's face about what he's doing. Can't wait to see the reaction in a decade.

Only 88% of the aid got realeased by the end of the fiscal year, Congress had to sign a continuing resolution to get Ukrainian the other 12%.

Wait, Ukrainians are Americans now?

Isn't it in America's interest to make sure the money is actually being spent on the reasons we're giving it, and not disbursed to Ukrainian Oligarchs?

Apparently, as long as Biden announces a candidacy for any office, the Executive branch can't investigate any potential wrongdoing.

To say otherwise is FASCIST!

The thing is they made it legal for themselves, probably with bipartisan support many years ago. Once it's in in place it is very easy to make money. When you are on the say healthcare committee and know which bill is being passed you know exactly the type of stocks that will go up a couple percent the next day, you just have your family buy hand over fist. Easy to amass million over years with no risk. Every regular joe would go to prison for this. They are all crooked, but the worst are the snooty left coast Democrats like her who have done nothing but inflict taxes on the hard working top 10% to top 1%. They open the floodgates for illegals but call the cops when you let and illegal family camp in their large front-yard of their mansion while having the gall of lecturing hard working folks on white supremacy and nazis. Fuck them and their enablers! Not sure how much Trump can do to scare them or at least shoo them into an existence where we are not exposed to those corrupt leftoids on a daily basis anymore, but 4 more years would certainly help.

I think it is quite intolerant of you to lump all republicans into a single description. Almost half of the voters in the country voted for Trump.

I don't identify as republican. I am a California registered democrat (GO Tulsi).

Being a cad, asshole, driving them crazy, and exposing them. Oh wait those are not impeachable.
