Unfortunately, the baby-mama usually wouldn't know the father either! :)
It is one thing to hold a "father" accountable if he was married to the lady (society has an interest and both parties agreed to this implicitly with a marriage), but quite another for a single woman to let (and yes - that is actually how this works) herself get pregnant so she can grab the "daddy" money that she needs so she doesn't have to work. And as always the "male" has no choice in the matter. How odd that, at the end of the day, society forces the male to take responsibility when the choice to abort/put-up-for-adoption is not "his." It is a bizarre - we reward women for basically trapping the male.

Really? It takes two to make a child. If you are a man, wear a condom. And if you hear the lady speaking of wanting a kid, keep it zipped. You are a human being with mind and cognitive choice, not a squirrel that only knows sniff it and hit it. There are many ways to enjoy sex, and the only one that results in pregnancy is the one where you bust a nut deep in the hole without a barrier.

I am speechless every time I hear a liberal say just shoot them on the leg. They aren’t able to recognize how stupid they are.

Yes, Nike needs to appeal the customers who actually buy the shoes rather than those who wait for riot lottery thefts.

https://babylonbee.com/news/anti-science-trump-administration-to-revert-definition-of-gender-to-objective-scientific-standard

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The "anti-science" and "anti-facts" Trump administration is considering reverting the definition of gender to a biological, objective, scientific standard, drawing the ire of the "pro-science" left.

Critics have long claimed Trump is opposed to science, and they believe his decision to use scientific standards to define gender prove his anti-science stance.

"Trump obviously can't stand scientific facts, and that's why he's hatefully changing the definition of gender to a biological, objective standard," said one MSNBC host. "The true lover of science knows that gender is a nebulous, imaginary concept that you can change based on your feelings." The hosts of the program then chanted "Love trumps hate!" for a full 45 minutes before the show ended.

Congressional Democrats held a press conference shortly after the news of the reversion to anti-science scientific standards. "This is unconscionable," said Nancy Pelosi. "These scientific standards will set us back thousands of years—or at least a few years, to when we changed the definition of gender in the first place." Congressional Democrats then chanted "Love trumps hate!" for a full 45 minutes before the press conference ended.

I have to comment on this. I've had captive wild animals and the situations are not comparable.

Captive animals have limited freedom, but they aren't slaves as a result. They have a greatly expanded lifespan as a result and companionship, as well as food and access to medical services. Depending on the owner they have a far higher quality of life and in some instances complete freedom but not independence for food or decisions. It's more like a benevolent god / subject situation - but it's not that either, you're not god.

Our government will never be a good owner. You can care for 4 animals well and have a job, but not 20 or more - then you're just hoarding. You can care for hundreds of animals if that's ALL you do, and you have plenty of land and lots of money. Nobody can care for 1,000's without neglecting them.

The government isn't interested in having pets, they want cattle. A cow, sheep, goat or pig doesn't have guaranteed medical care and security. They MIGHT have some minor medical care, up to ALMOST the worth of the animal - and that's not much. They are all slaughtered at the end at the peak of their value in meat.

The picture should compare a wild goat, versus a farmed one.

Ever seen a "free dog"? I've had a few that broke my heart. Freedom can be particularly cruel, they are basically the homeless without the intelligence - or insanity for that matter.

Personally, I would prefer a couple of years of freedom over decades in a cage, no matter how good the food and medical care.

But that's just my personal choice.

It depends. Some feral dogs adapt pretty good, especially if they form a pack.

Feral pigs are fucking thriving. Same for feral horses a.k.a mustangs.

Haha - you are in a cage.

Want to be free? I can put you in a plane with a parachute and I can shove you out of a plane at an undisclosed location over a wilderness.

Dogs have been successively bred over many generations - so have we.

I grew up in a tiny hick town in northern NY. People from the city would dump their unwanted pets off in our area.

Last dog my parents took in they found wandering in their backyard (which was extensive) starving. That dog was very grateful to receive food and a safe place to sleep.

This isn't true.

We're all born in a cage, you know this but you want it not to be true. We are under the thumb of a natural hierarchy called "civilization".

I have read a good explanation that the story of Genesis is nothing more than an allegory of people changing from living off from a land of plenty, and converting to agriculturalism - that it was the move from hunter/gatherer society to one of farming. I wonder if it is correct?

My current dog would probably be like that if lost. My previous one would fucking terrorize and/or devour all wildlife in 10 miles radius. =))

My dad used to have a guard dog in Indiana, that was a toughest son of a bitch dog I knew. Our house never got robbed because of that dog.
