This is true. I don't find him funny at all. There's an underlying bigotry to everything he does. I'm sure he is not welcome in Khazakstan, and for very good reason.

I think he has talent and find him still reasonably funny (he is also quite a good actor in serious roles), though his best and funniest years are long behind him. He started out with Ali G, Bruno etc and other comedy which was very politically incorrect, funny, and entrapped everyone alike. It's entirely possible political incorrectness was his initial worthy main goal. What happened likely is a similar trajectory than that of Jon Stewart, less funny and more and more uniform leftoid alignment by focusing on fictitious racism from the right, similar to AF/Suma. He is a fairly intelligent guy and figured out his life will be much easier if he focuses on making politically correct fun of the media outcasts and hillbillies on the right instead of being politically incorrect these days. It's disingenuous but keeps the paychecks coming and the sjw outrage at bay.

Fixed it for you. He and Kamala follow a similar tract, but with Sasha the tragedy is greater, because he does have talent. He held his own as the “formula un” driver opposite Will Ferrell in Talledaga Nights. Will was the lead but was outperformed by pretty much all of his costars in that movie, including Sasha. But at least they got to make that movie, you could never make that movie today, not woke enough for Hollyweird.
