The MSM is dying because of podcasts and other content creators.
Hollywood as next, as the price of production continues to plummet while production skills from video to audio to editing expand in the population.
Dr. Steve Turley, Styx, Nerdrotic, AwakenwithJP, etc. and their various collabs are knocking out multi-million dollar anchor shows with tens of millions in production budgets.
My 8-year old son does NOT watch any Hollywood Professional shows. He watches Unspeakable (fucking loud, I come in and turn the volume down about halfway), Preston and BriannaPlayz (Zoomer Married Christian Couple that pranks each other in Minecraft), and some other guy who makes animated shorts about various trivia. And yeah, he spends about 2/3 of the time being free range on his bike and only comes in to eat, drink, and chill in the A/C for an hour before going back out.
All of it is, or began as, homemade webcam shows. Much of the format is still that way. Some of these content makers have moved on with popularity to get more professional production and shoot on location. Some already use CGI pretty decently for Slenderman, or the Hacker, or Sirenhead -- all of which are open source villains/monsters, created by crowd participation.
My almost 80-year old mother now watches as much independent content on Rumble and Youtube as regular TV. Southern Cooking shows, the local Catholic Mass, etc. as well as Turley and a few others. She also discovered the HDTV Antenna for Murder She Wrote and other old Shows.
There's no guarantee that a podcast or similar will be better than Hollyweird, but it can't be worse.
I have faith in people's judgement. It sure takes them a DAMNED long time to get there, but I ultimately trust the direction they naturally go toward. People want to know the truth and gravitate toward that. With on demand EVERYTHING, I think propaganda itself is doomed.
There's a LOT of people who just are eager to speak truth to power, and explain how they see situations. They get ENORMOUS input from the public to give them feedback, people DO make mistakes, but they learn, and revise and get better. These people have organic followings and the more engagement they have with their audience the better they get.
Meanwhile, fake ass propaganda has to have bots to pretend that anybody agrees with their bullshit, or they turn off comments entirely, or they whine "they're under attack from haterz" and so on. This was the whole point of making the Internet, at least for me. I was just fucking destroyed when Bush was able to lie us into Iraq, but when Trump got elected partially because he said "Iraq was a horrible mistake", I had hope again. When the media lied about him for 4 years, it increased my hope. They could no longer control the narrative. When companies started engaging in open POLITICAL censorship and started getting "fact checkers" (propagandists) I knew they were in dire straights and losing. Seeing Twitter panic over Elon Musk just THREATENING to open it up was hilarious.
Never thought Silly Con Valley companies would betray the country, but here we are. Finally, it's easy to see who the enemies are and who the good guys are. I can still be tricked into thinking some shill is a "good guy" or some company is, but who is rotten to the core, it's obvious.
"Yesterday (6/12/2022) chemtrails drew a ‘pentagram’ in the sky at Disneyland in Paris — but all the matrix fake-checkers will say chemtrsils are not real."
They have been laying chemtrails so thick over the Bay Area, it's been a 'yellow spring'. Instead of crystal blue skies and fluffy clouds as is usual in spring, there always seems to be a vague yellow pall unless the sprayers take a few days off or a stiff wind from the ocean clears things up a bit.
Like Covid and everything else, we know this is only for our own good to be sprayed like bugs without telling us, asking if we want it, or letting us know the crap they are dousing us with.
Maybe we should keep Liz Cheney in Wyoming. No skyscrapers full of people for her to blow up like Dad. Worse thing she might bag a country bar and a few cows.
Maybe the Russians should just be sending the Ukrainian officers cases of Vodka laced with rohypnol. They'll crash themselves. https://t.me/asbmil/2187

The industry is dying though I think. Good.
I think people are waking up to the fraud that is Pedowood.

Modern cars emit so little CO you can't even fucking commit suicide with the method described above.

Fixed it.
How dare you remove my post's apostrophe without permission. That apostrophe meant everything to me.
I'm in a violent, rapey mood today. Fuck your apostrophe!
Thought crime is what is going to get me nailed at some point.
