Bill Clinton bombed the Al-Shifa pharmaceutical plant in Sudan on the same day that Monica Lewinsky presented her stained dress in court to distract for the entry of the evidence. The claim, later to be proven entirely false, was that the plant was making chemical weapons precursors. It was the largest (perhaps only?) pharmaceutical plant in Sudan, and completion of it was in 1996. In the 2 years before it was destroyed, it captured 50% of the market in Sudan - which is probably one of the reasons it was destroyed.
