And, of course, inflation is stealth taxation. By the time the peasants' wages and benefits catch up with the inflation, the wealthy have already scored ahead of time, shifting wealth more towards themselves to increase the purchasing power gap. Of course, when the peasants' wages have caught up with inflation, they are in higher tax categories, too! Win win for the Guv and the rich, lose lose for the peasants.
