In my experience it hasn't been my doctor, it's been "friends" and relatives. My family doctor agrees with us not wanting to take medicine unless very necessary. He always agrees contrary to this meme. The most important thing with Dr's is to find one who will let you actually communicate with them and have intelligent conversations.
