I would say with the Satanists in charge, you should presume that any 'drug' that has significant metabolic effects is designed to maim you in the long run and your doctor will neither study it objectively or warn you off from it if it is pharma profitable. The Napoleonic Code applies, they have much higher standards of proof since the studies are warped and the medical journals are whored by lobbyists for sale.
