The only parking locations where I have seen this signed as not allowed is where backing in woul d place the nose of the vehicle pointed towards oncoming traffic. Say in angled parking stalls on a one way drive aisle or street.

Prop 13 is Democrat? WTF?

Proposition 13 was strongly championed by conservatives and the Republican Party in California. Passed in 1978, it was led by taxpayer advocate Howard Jarvis and aimed to curb rising property taxes by capping them and limiting annual increases. The measure became a cornerstone of the national tax revolt and has long been defended by California Republicans as a vital protection against excessive taxation

I knew about  that Jarvis-Gann Initiative of 1978, but that comic refers to someone today. Here is my inspiration for that comic:
The first hidden incentive for voters and donors in California to remain Democrat is, ironically, the product of a quintessential Republican initiative, the Jarvis-Gann Initiative of 1978

The point is that the girl, because of Prop 13, is immune to the high taxes passed by Dems.

I was looking at the parcel taxes in my tri valley hood. The young couple across the street (wealthy Indian parents) pay three times what we pay. The ancient couple on the other corner pay a third of what we pay, because they transferred their prop. 13 advantage from the home they had for years that they bought a really long time ago.

So, the most recent purchasers in the hood can pay up to nine times the property taxes that the ancient crumbles pay who have gamed prop. 13 into their homes.

We are also now surrounded by inheritors of one kind or another. Many Californians who stay here almost have to be inheritors if they don't have fabulous jobs.

No wonder there is so much boomer hatred. Of course, if the kinders inherit the manse with a prop. 13 advantage, there will probably be fresh lilies on the grave site for a while.

Stochastic Hitler. The demonization that became so iconic it doesn't make any sense any more, has become a frothing malapropism, but they still think it works.

Bibi confirms he controls President Trump by officially denying that he controls President Trump.

Looks like they got a different actor.

Dems are constantly introducing ballot measures aimed at neutering Prop 13. So if the girl likes her Prop 13 she wouldn't be votin Dem
or with Dem.

“As for Gibbon, now,” said Stephen when they were settled by the fire again, “I do remember the first lines. They ran ‘It is dangerous to entrust the conduct of nations to men who have learned from their profession to consider reason as the instrument of dispute, and to interpret the laws according to the dictates of private interest; and the mischief has been felt, even in countries where the practice of the bar may deserve to be considered as a liberal occupation.’”

"I do not say that all lawyers are bad, but I do maintain that the general tendency is bad: standing up in a court for whichever side has paid you, affecting warmth and conviction, and doing everything you can to win the case, whatever your private opinion may be, will soon dull any fine sense of honour. The mercenary soldier is not a valued creature, but at least he risks his life, whereas these men merely risk their next fee."

It'll also reduce funds from the stateless state called the CIA centered in Switzerland, as well as a lot of butt hurt City of London and Euro Royals. Less money to subvert the USA.

Another whopper that just flew under the radar. Does this effectively kill any threat of CBDC?

Cites that ANY CBDC even in Europe violates standing international law and treaties about specie requirments.
