Have the Democrats gone mad? Are they really planning on putting up the same type of candidate against Donald Trump in 2020 that they put up against him in 2016? Is the party bent on nominating Hillary 2.0?

How else to describe Joe Biden, the former vice president and ex-senator from Delaware, who is leading in the polls and has hinted that he’d reveal whether he’s running for president in “a few weeks” and might select a running mate early in the process?

Forget, for a moment, his “blue-collar-uncle-at-the-end-of-the-bar persona.” Ignore also his recent, and ridiculous, claim to have the “most progressive record of anybody” running for president. Consider, instead, the sheer number of similarities he seems to have with the vanquished Democratic presidential candidate of 2016.

More on each of the topics below in full article...

Iraq War supporter? Check.

Friend of Wall Street? Check.

Champion of mass incarceration? Check. Millions of black voters refused to turn out for Clinton in 2016. Why wouldn’t they do the same in response to a Biden candidacy in 2020?

Establishment-friendly? Check.

Gaffe-prone? Check.

Loser? Check.

Yet now, it seems, he and his supporters believe this serial loser is the only Democratic candidate able to win back white-working class voters from Trump and triumph in the 2020 presidential election?

Where is the actual evidence for this ludicrous claim? For a start, a recent poll found that “every potential Democratic candidate in the 2020 presidential election — announced and unannounced — would beat President Trump in a head-to-head contest.” (As Biden himself conceded to The Intercept in December, “I think anybody can beat him.”)

The bigger issue, however, is that there is no question for the Democrats in 2020 to which Biden is the answer. Have they really learned no lessons from three years ago?

I drove across Virginia last Sunday passing through many small towns. I saw some Trump signs in yards, but also an uncomfortable number of Biden signs.

One left wing site defending Biden wrote : Click to minute 4:40 in the video below to hear Trump claim Biden was “thrown out of the military” and “dishonorably discharged for cocaine use.”

The lefties want to play a word game by saying Hunter Biden did not receive a "Dishonorable Discharge," and thus what Trump said was false. But notice that Trump said "dishonorably" discharged. The military considers anything other than an explicit "Honorable Discharge" to be "Less than Honorable Discharge." That includes Administrative and General Discharges. Hunter Biden was thrown out for cocaine use. While I was in the Air Force, illicit drug use typically resulted in a General Discharge. For any follow on employer who requests the DD214 from job applicants, or is familiar with the military, a General Discharge is a show stopper.

The wireless connection lost the signal and the first thing Joe does at his Little Haiti mini-gathering is scoot over to pre-teen girls to make strange comments at them.

Are they not outside? Why are they wearing masks and standing in circles? I get social distancing, but if outside it's completely unnecessary as long as you're not making out with people or sneezing in their faces. Besides Joe being creepy as usual, this video (along with others with the circles) has a super creepy vibe. Very Orwellian. Can people not just stand 6' plus apart? They "need" circles to stand in. Not sure I'll ever vote Democrat again. These people are fucking retarded. Probably why most tucked their dicks between their legs here and had their temper tantrum on the way out of patnet.

That isn't a good thing.

If you are to get into trouble over something that is relatively minor, it can ruin your life, even if you've corrected it.

I'm in Commiefornia. Prisoners are made to fight forest fires, and I mean forced - read the 13th amendment - they are essentially slave labor. Guess what an inmate that is an experienced firefighter is ineligible for - firefighting. They can't get a job in that field.

I don't think prison should ruin a person's life - depending on the crime of course. Drug use, I think that's relatively minor, but in the case of Hunter Biden, whose father made a bunch of laws throwing people into prison for drug use - yeah, sure. If anybody should be subject to the absolute rule of law it should be lawmakers and their families. Only way to get the scum to change the laws and make them equitable.

Biden should be in prison for cocaine use, not just dishonorably discharged. He should be prosecuted.

Not at all true. A fire crew is about the most coveted job a prisoner can get. It’s literally not only volunteer, but very competitive to get assigned to this.

And the law just changed. Some former inmates can now become firefighters:

This is one of my lefty leanings. I say decriminalize at minimum and up to making coke legal and regulating it. The shit gets thinned out and laced with other stuff by dealers and people end up dead. A high school friend of mine died because of it.

Fact is we already have treatment in place for all this shit and toss people in jail for a substance. People are going to do it and get it if it's there vice. It's one area where I'm okay with government having more control. These legitimately are people that cannot help themselves, so let's just throw them in jail costing tax payers substantially more than if it was legal and regulated?

Coke is the least of Hunter's worries. Leveraging his father as VP is eventually going to catch up with him and is far more costly to taxpayers instead of a little blow. How did VP Joe use our tax money to enrich his son? Something most certainly was offered up in return for the Ukraine job and the Chinese investments. That's money out of the pockets of people that actually pay federal taxes.

Not for a politician's son.

They are the ones throwing people into prison for drug use. Why does Hunter Biden get off, and go on to accept bribes for his father?

It's because we don't have a rule of law. It's that simple.

It's not going to "catch up with him". He's going to walk away, scott free. Hopefully he'll overdose. He's a complete slime bag. He's got a kid from his brother's wife, and he's got a kid from a prostitute. He's scum. But there will be no reckoning for him.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—According to anonymous sources, local liberal man Penn Millikers proposed to his girlfriend but has refused to reveal his position on adultery until after the wedding is over.

The staunch Democrat said he wants the woman to marry him but won't reveal his position on adultery until the marriage is finalized.

"Listen, I love you, babe, but you don't deserve to know what I think about adultery until you say 'I do,'" he told her during a romantic dinner just after he proposed.

"No matter how many times his girlfriend asked, Millikers refused to give a straight answer," said the anonymous source. "He said something like: 'Lookie here, Jill! If I tell you right now whether or not I plan to remain faithful to you, that would become the story! This is just a distraction! I think it's better to just get married first with no prenup. Then I'll tell you what I plan to do.'"

Other things he refuses to reveal his position on include taking showers, putting socks in the hamper, going out drinking with the boys every night, and watching sports all day while he ignores his family.

"You'll find out my positions on these issues once we are married."

Lol, they were completely wrong last time and now they are tracking that same wrongness, but with Trump further ahead at all points than he was last time.
