Lowest level of awareness: Trump is an evil bad man. ‘I have a bad feeling about him and that is his fault.'
Second level of awareness: Your reaction to Trump says something about you and you have to take responsibility for that, that being your own emotional state.
Third level of awareness: “None of us would feel the way we feel except for way the media unfairly, and illegitimately describes it.” Take the opinion out from any piece about Trump and just strip down the story to the facts and the story takes on a less significant influence.
Level Four involves the persuader. Have you ever noticed how many pundits with echo the same phrasing about Trump, “Oh, he's dark.” Or “He's a racist.” How many times did you hear that one? Why are they all saying the same thing at the same time? Is it because someone is working behind the scenes orchestrating things? According to Scott Adam's something like that is happening and he calls this unknown monster, “Godzilla” and refers to him as “the persuader.”
Fascinating perspective from Dilbert creator, Scott Adams, and a challenge for my liberal friends: are you as open minded about yourself and your deep seated beliefs about Trump to hear Adams out and find out what these Four different levels of awareness are about?
