You could be an independent and posted the best song ever made on line and it streams a trillion times. Those streams are all calculate to payout to the top Artists. You'll get something like .000001243 per play while those producers I mentioned will buy a new Super Car from your effort.

I know it's correct. My black Liberal friend I mention from time to time. Went back to college about ten years ago to study Music and Music business.
He's been trying since then to make money on CD Baby, Spotify, and Padora and the like. He's been struggling for a couple years get his songs produced, licensed and published. Now he's getting plays, he's researching into why he doesn't get paid, and this all of the stuff he is finding out.
So now, he says the only way to make money at music. Is to give master classes on techniques, tips and marketing webinars, to the next generation of delusional hopefuls.

Pretty soon the people selling ways to make money on the Internet will out number the people actually making money on the Internet. I said Internet but interchange "Music" as well.
