I actually got to travel all around asia in my 20s and early 30s. How? I got a job with a multinational investment bank that paid me to work in countries all over asia! Novel concept I know, work that is.
I even got paid company housing most of the time, it was awesome.

Wow the first commenter really put in perspective.

That being said, those idiots in Kalua Lampour need to tread carefully. That could be considered a street performance and they could be arrested for not having a permit for it.
One thing that struck me as odd about KL was the lack of Bums, and how well the poor(in the city and urban areas anyway) were taken care of. Their Poor house projects would pass as a Luxury condo building in most States. That is from the outside, I didn't go inside, but the outside fit in with the rest of the modern architecture. They weren't gloomy ran down tenement apartments like in most cities in the world, including the US.
The guy in that picture milling about on his cell phone while his buddy begs, isn't helping their cause.
Rather than begging, they should hook up with some locals and help them in return for some temporary room and board.
Seems so selfish and crass to ask people who make a in a year what Westerners make in a month.

In Asia there is a tiresome trend of poor, useless, white liberals trying to travel around the world with empty bank accounts. You might be thinking, how the fuck do people with no money travel around the world?
